A Call To Arms OOC Plotting
Here it is, the big day when Amaterasu is calling upon everyone to strike at a single location as hard as possible. All they know going in is that the compound might be significant to the cultists. Please feel free to use this post to plot accordingly!

- There will be 10 exp / 100 followers awarded for High Walls or Booby Trap threads with at least 10 comments, then another 25 exp / 250 followers for a conclusion in that thread which successfully demonstrates breaching the compound, avoiding or defeating whichever impediments are being tackled.
- There will be 20 exp / 200 followers awarded for First Fight threads with at least 15 comments.
- There will be 30 exp / 300 followers awarded for Second Fight threads with at least 15 comments.

2. Does his clairvoyance work through the barrier or is that also being blocked by the spell? Would it work after he enters the compound?
3. Building off James' question a little: can a floating cat-cube AI pass through the barrier without sideeffects?
4. Plan C, for when all else fails........ can Add airdrop a weaponized roomba with a flamethrower, a taser and at least one knife on a long stick inside the compound????? he can put a camera on it and itll be the best infiltrator

He also has something similar to Waver, but instead of magical discerning eye, it's with actual several magical experts and professors- And really, if there were ways to do so, he'd like to turn the traps back around on the people who made them. Or delay them for the next people passing through (sorry y'all. he's a dick.)

1. Does the wall effect work also on the space above the compound?
2. Is it possible to drop somebody/something from the air?
3. How about visibility? a) how possible is that any surveying party over the compound would be noticed? b) what can be seen from the air?

... if the second part is true, would the cultists inside still come out in investigate who the fuck is singing jpop outside their secret base anyway?

Hibiki's spy butterfly I gather would be OK, since it's just a robot. The spygoats are also 100% (adorable squishy plush) robot, and made entirely of parts Hibiki has obtained on the Near Shore. My only concern is that I haven't specified why they have grown steadily more intelligent; I've been handwaving that with cartoon physics/rule of funny, the way Hibiki still sparkles when she turns on the charm. Could they still get through?

Besides the mentioned cameras, ear-pieces, and broadcasting dishes and wire structures (which Ginia is going to attack with a few characters), is there anything else she'd pick up? Something hidden or unusual?

To my understanding a weapon like this could maybe wound ayakashi, but not rend it (that's reserved for his god only), but since it's a raid boss fight and everyone are chipping at the health bar, the lack of rend isn't that important.

Also, say if someone were to devour the soul of a mortal cultist and infest their lifeless husk of a body to use as a puppet. Would they be able gain entry to the compound that way, essentially using one of the outside guards as their disguise? Would the guards have any sort of protection against that kind of thing?

- what effects interacting with dolls would bring?
- after all, chaos break loose, what would happen if someone... was to pocket a doll, or three? Is there a difference in how the dolls feel at the beginning and at the "end" of the fight (I see people trying to break the crystal in plans, so- )
- is the crystal itself magical in nature, or is it just a focus or other kind of tool for the spell. Is there a strong link between the dolls and the crystal, and if yes, in which direction the spell goes? (kind of like... which one is a river and which one is the dam, if this or similar comparison could work)
If either of these was some kind of Very Bad Idea, he would be able to sense it.

While in the Reality Marble Iskandar is on his own terrain, with all the advantages. His Charisma is boosted.
RM & army can hold for significant amount of time (I usually give it 20 minutes to half an hour but that’s my non-canon estimate)
Army cannot leave the RM but Iskandar can send a single messenger outside. He can release allies and enemies wherever he chooses when RM is dissolving. That has potential of taking all of them out of the collapsing building. Also potential for totally changing the battlefield. (or spoiling the fun for everybody) So I’m wondering about the consequences of its use.
Here go my questions:
1) Is it possible to drag Old Woman and Teen inside the RM?
2) if 1 is possible would that mean the crystal is going with them?
3) would ayakashi go with them?
4) would they be protected by the field?
5) Iskandar soldiers are Heroic Spirits like him (some can be even physically stronger) would they be able to harm Old Woman & Teen? How about ayakashi if any of those gets dragged inside ? (they won’t be able to rend obviously but there’s enough of gods there to do this)
6) Would there be any negative consequences for Waver ? He saw Ionioi Hetairoi when he was alive while being Iskandar’s Master in the Fourth Grail War. He doesn’t remember now but it was important memory while he still had it. Would Iskandar be even able to think of using it in front of Waver without triggering the no-no-no serious objections connected to Gods Greatest Secret?
More detailed description of Iskandar’s Noble Phantasm here
It is very OP (one of the strongest Noble Phantasms with the highest rank) and I’m totally willing to nerf it down as needed.

1) Is she a soulless or no?
2) Shun intends to reverse the decay effect weakening her. Will she remain compliant after being healed, or will she start to fight the PCs holding onto her?
3) If she is compliant, will she answer questions regarding the cult? How she came to be a part of it, what were the names of the old woman and the goddess wielding her, what were they trying to do with the crystal, etc etc
4) Does she have any other names, or was the white-haired girl her only god?
5) What does she want to do now that she's been released? Obviously Zelda doesn't want her to return to the cult, but she'll offer to help find her a new home if she wants one.
There might be more to come, but that's a good start for now, I think. Oh, also--
- Given the way the second fight was ultimately handled mechanically (which I liked, btw), do we still require a 15 comment-long thread to get the event bonus for participating as mentioned here? Or will links to what actions our characters took in the fight suffice?

Just a quick question. Will someone pulling the spell paper off Suzaku release him from the freezing spell?
(I'm super late on this and I apologise)

Are prep threads what we turn in for exp?
"At this rate I expect 15 comments somewhere in this entire pile, not all in one thread anymore."
"15 comments somewhere in the entire thread."
"Anywhere in here (Second Fight Header, including Post-Battle) if I can do a search for your character's username and it comes up 15 times, you get credit"
Are the dolls only active gods/shinki or previously dropped ones too?
It's a mix.
How big is the (basement) room / can my character grow huge?
I'm gonna say that the room is tall enough to be 20' max but his bigger issue is going to be the sheer number of characters cramming in there. IDK that at 20' he could actually stand in there amongst the other characters? ... So either closer to 10' or maybe 13-15' if he can hover- which maybe he can by the looks of that.
Can I backtag the Second Fight?
You can still post to Round 1 (or Round 2, Round 3, etc.), btw! It's why I made the headers like I did. It just won't be something the NPCs will react to. The Prep area in particular is a good spot where you two could thread out stuff.
When can I submit for Event Bonus credit?
Whenever you qualify. Hypothetically, we accept submissions indefinitely.
Plurk #2
During the second fight, there's a forcefield protecting a certain crystal. Can my character get through it?
They can approach the forcefield but not get through it.
General Information FAQ: Can a shinki in vessel form cast a borderline?
Yes.
General Information FAQ: When my (god) character attacks, do I need to explicitly specify that he's trying to rend?
Yes. We don't require players to say the full Rend spell in text, but normally we need the word Rend somewhere in there. Especially in these threads, as you can see by my questions, I can't always tell which attacks are with normal weaponry and which are shinki. I'm certainly trying. Normally players figure that out in Prayer threads with ayakashi involved, but I realize that's less likely for newer players.
What is Discerning Eye (from Fate/ series) picking up from the Rend spell?
It has a verbal component required to trigger the effect. A god sends their power through a shinki vessel combined with the verbal spell. Depending on the god's power and the vessel's strength, along with where it gets the ayakashi, the Rend spell may or may not completely destroy the ayakashi in one hit.
Youtube link
Even when characters don't describe the full rend spell, they're assumed to be doing this whole shebang. "Rend!" being the shorthand for it.
Follow-up: How does that magic interact with the ayakashi to destroy it?
An ayakashi is made of pure blight. The god's attack is a purification technique, essentially, slicing through an ayakashi's blight in a way that normal attacks can't.
Ayakashi are basically creatures made of blight (negative emotions and curses given form), and Rend is a powerful purification spell specifically meant for getting rid of ayakashi. So in regards to "how the spell reacts with the ayakashi to destroy it", the main impression would simply be 'purification'.
What does the (formerly a Spear) shinki look like?
She probably looks remarkably unremarkable. The magical types will be able to perceive her the same way they do other (old) shinki. She's not cracked either. Zelda probably saw her shinki name disappear, actually.
Moving the dolls:
As [Ginia] starts to pull her doll away from the crystal, at the edge of the "force field" (where the glow stops, and used to prevent people from entering) she'll start to feel disoriented and full-body pain. The effect is the same if Ebisu moves it for her. If it's moved even a few inches further away, Ginia starts to fade from view AND more pain. And yes it can be returned within the field (doesn't have to be original position) to reverse the effect. The fading away would be her physical form whether in vessel or human form.
Is the above effect the same for gods and shinki? Will the gods feel anything specifically? Like the sense the name will break or anything?
It won't feel the same as, say, blight overtaking the name. Or that the shinki is being destroyed such as happens before Hafuri form. But let's go with a feeling more like the shinki name being peeled away? Gif Description #1 and Gif Description #2.
For gods, the effect is the same. Minus their shinki feeling any sort of consequence of it of course.
Magical analysis of the dolls:
Waver and Judar (and any other inclined to this level of magical analysis) will notice that there are souls trapped in the crystal and the dolls. I'll presume that Waver/Judar/etc do further analysis and realize that the "burned-out" dolls do not actually have souls, it's a lingering magical effect. Dolls like the one Ginia/Ebisu are handling have the stronger associative magic that the crystal does.
Are there any direct consequences coming from interacting with the crystal for Waver and Judar?
When you say "interacting with" if you only mean touching it or analyzing it with magic, then no.
Can the altar with the crystal be moved as long as all the dolls stayed where they are on it? Like a god teleported it out
TBD but probably not.

Can the old woman from the compound be teleported through shrines and into the Far Shore, or is she actually human? Chikusa wants to double check on this.

if we turn in a thread that's reached 10 comments but hasn't reached a conclusion (i.e. breaking through the wall) yet, can i turn it in incomplete for 10exp and then do another turn-in when it's completed for the additional 25?
