Here it is, the big day when Amaterasu is calling upon everyone to strike at a single location as hard as possible. All they know going in is that the compound might be significant to the cultists. Please feel free to use this post to plot accordingly!

Event Bonuses

There will be 10 exp / 100 followers awarded for High Walls or Booby Trap threads with at least 10 comments, then another 25 exp / 250 followers for a conclusion in that thread which successfully demonstrates breaching the compound, avoiding or defeating whichever impediments are being tackled.

There will be 20 exp / 200 followers awarded for First Fight threads with at least 15 comments.

There will be 30 exp / 300 followers awarded for Second Fight threads with at least 15 comments.

Seeing from their eyes would be possible outside the compound looking in, but he'd cease to have that power once they crossed the threshold inside. If he and the familiars were both inside however, it would work again.

What would you say Discerning Eye is picking up here for booby traps? And may we have a random cultist that looks important?

Waver will be questioning them on a number of topics in the pizza van of no morals:

Who is in charge here? Give him identities.

Are they in charge overall? Who are the leaders?

What are the compound's defenses? What do they do here?

Is this the only cultist base? Where are all the cultists operating?

How are they recruiting? Where are they getting their supplies?

What are their beliefs? Why do they believe these things? (hi psychological warfare)

What methods are they taking to complete their objectives? What kind of magic are they being taught?

Are they creating gods? Are they using pre-existing gods?

Are they creating ayakashi? How?

How are they controlling ayakashi?

About 2/3 of the booby traps are magical in nature, but another 1/3 are mechanical, so his Eye won't catch anything about them. The only other specific thing I can tell you is that they're all cast by individual cultists. Their actual effects were left intentionally vague for players to choose. So there's probably a mix of spells being actively maintained and others that were cast as permanent effects until someone triggered the trap.

You may have a random important cultist, but I don't have access to that information remotely, so I'll have to get that person for you later. Are any of these questions being asked with a magical compulsion? If not, they won't answer.

Second Fight Discerning Eye intel:
- Old woman is magical, so is the young woman and her spear. I don't know that his power would get a breakdown of people the same way he would items.
- Inside of the crystal's glow appears to "not be affectable" according to this power, which the dolls and the crystal are
- There is lingering magic all around them, but it's not active at this time

Yep. It is - magical hypnosis/memory manipulation shenanigans. And he's remembered at this point to his violent roosters' dismay.

Who is in charge here? Anyone strong enough to succeed at the final task. We don't know identities of leaders for other compounds and we don't share names around here, unless you already knew someone you were bringing in, so we definitely don't know the leaders' names.

Are they in charge overall? Who are the leaders? The old woman is A leader, but not the only leader.

What are the compound's defenses? What do they do here? We aren't allowed in the basement. Aside from the basic booby traps, we're just told that we'll be protected.

Is this the only cultist base? Where are all the cultists operating? We intentionally don't communicate with other compounds. Only a few people know that kind of information.

How are they recruiting? Where are they getting their supplies? It's on a word-of-mouth basis mostly, friends recruiting each other. Occasionally overhearing people who shop at supernatural-accoutrement style shops.

What are their beliefs? Why do they believe these things? We're human. Our goal is to devote ourselves to new gods and sabotage the old, because it's clear that the Heavens don't care about human suffering.

What methods are they taking to complete their objectives? What kind of magic are they being taught? The old woman teaches some people charms and talismans. We don't know the shielding magic she does.

Are they creating gods? Are they using pre-existing gods? (Blank stare.) Huh?

Are they creating ayakashi? How? No.

How are they controlling ayakashi? Only the high-ranking members can accomplish that. We only know the ones that are safe to be around have masks on them.
