A Call To Arms OOC Plotting

A Call To Arms: OOC Plotting

Here it is, the big day when Amaterasu is calling upon everyone to strike at a single location as hard as possible. All they know going in is that the compound might be significant to the cultists. Please feel free to use this post to plot accordingly!

1) Got it, I'll poke this when threaded to be more inside, then!

2) Mogamett's Wisdom is the reference in his app
(Mogamett's Wisdom) During what's known as the Magnostadt Arc, Judar absorbed a massive amount of black rukh, which contained the memories and knowledge of a highly skilled and informed magician named Mogamett, along with everyone else that had died for the purpose of creating a medium for the series' great evil.

Essentially, he's got the knowledge of a bunch of specialized researchers that were a part of the academy, most notably Mogamett, that joined the medium. For an example of their research, this is some of the curriculum that was available and known from the public. Meanwhile Mogamett had a passion for researching further into magic. So it's less a direct power and more applied knowledge and ingenuity.

At this point, I'm not sure if there's anything that's at or in the compound that would draw his eye, with these two subjects in particular. I can either poke back into this after threads have started as well, of course!

The things that I can think of for now would be the style of spellwork in the traps and whatever else might be around to link up later (like how coding has a bit of a 'signature' style for each programmer, and how handwriting is different,) and maybe it'll come up with the people themselves. I know he'll be curious as to how an ayakashi seemed to be stored and held in the compound with some kind of purpose, and if there was some kind of magical or mystical leash, and if it tied or linked to someone or somewhere in particular.

I'll definitely be adding things as they progress in all the threads! It hasn't come up yet for climbing the walls or dealing with booby traps just yet. So...

We'll make it easy with one of the things going on; the first fight with the octopus ayakashi; now while there's the obvious stuff that an ayakashi is, are there any points of focus for this Darkness that could be a source for these people having been able to 'cage' an ayakashi in the first place?

I'm not so sure there'd be a magical leash of this darkness linking the ayakashi and the one that helped make all this happen. Especially if the person behind it all managed to teach the cultists, and they've been doing a bunch of the work themselves.

So the mask could be interpreted as a tool that's allowed this affect/control for calling on the octopus? He'd try to get closer, despite the blight risks, but y'know. Knowledge.

Second fight: Aside from the crystal radiating, is any of the Dark energy being pulled for use, or having other kinds of energy drawn into it?

The joke question would be if Judar could eventually absorb the crystal's dark energy, but that might be a legit question down the line depending on things.
