TEST DRIVE # 17

TEST DRIVE # 17

Whether you're trying to figure out how your character would fare in this setting, trying to get some samples together, or just dipping your toes in the water, you've come to the right place! The Test Drive is here to make your life easy by letting you see what the game is like without actually joining it first. So here is how it works:

1: Post a starter with your character, including whether they are a god or shinki in the subject line.
2: Act like your character is established enough in the setting to allow your thread to go places.
3: Take on any god/shinki of your choosing, as long as they're not already in the game!
4: Comment around to the other people on the meme.
5: Have lots of fun!

To get you started, here are some ideas for thread-starters! Feel free to come up with your own ideas if these don't strike your fancy, though.

Courtly Cadavers

Several dead bodies have very suddenly returned to life. Not only that, but they seem to be possessed by very courteous and polite spirits. So there are reports of half-rotten beings bowing down to young ladies and kissing their hands or holding open doors for other passersby. It's really nice, sure, but also really disturbing.

Dark Deeds

In the middle of the night, there is a spirit that keeps turning off all of the street lamps. Fortunately, there aren't many cars on the roads at this time. Unfortunately, the spirit is also putting out all of the cars' headlights as well. And no cell phone lights or flashlights work during that time either and it's starting to cause a lot of accidents.

Endless Eight

There are eight blocks in downtown Tokyo that have taken to repeating endlessly. As you reach the end of the eight block, you find yourself stepping onto the first block again. No amount of turning or redirecting yourself will allow you to leave the eight blocks - until you stop by a cafe with a couple of bunny girls out front and make a purchase, that is.

Further Forward

Many in Tokyo want nothing more than to be on the cutting edge of technology! And there are some wealthy people who want to be even further ahead than everyone else. That's why they've sent out a general call for new types of technology to be brought to them. And if what you bring is impressive enough, you might get yourself a nice reward~

Giant Goats

Several farms on the outskirts of the city have reported a very sudden and tremendous growth in their goats. That's right, there are two-story tall goats hanging out with the other farm animals. Other than being very large, they seem mostly the same. But since goats will eat anything, well... Let's just say a couple of farmers are going to need new barns soon.

If you're uncertain about anything, feel free to check out the Premise, Rules, and FAQ posts. And don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have on the FAQ!
When and if you're ready to join the game, check out the Taken Characters before throwing in a Reserve and starting on your Application
Have fun!

[Toss another dead hero into the mix~ Sorry Deku we aim to break you.]

Courtly Cadavers

Yes, yes. Everything seems to be perfectly normal- there's gentlemen being kind to ladies, showing the perfect amount of manners. Opening doors for ladies, bowing in apologies, and even some being a little bit more bold by kissing the tops of ladies hands and by Iida's book that is perfectly alright. What is not alright? The fact that despite their good manners- the corpses are down right slobs! They are just sloppily discarding precious body parts all over the place and guess who has to alert them to their misdeeds? That's right- Impeccable Iida~!

So.... Do you help the guy who is going around helping the corpses or do you save the poor corpses (and what remains of their ears) and distract Iida?

The problem is once again he has no idea if Iida knows who he is. Should he say something? Shouldn't... shouldn't they be stopping the corpses? Even as polite as they are, they're still decomposing corpses and they're seriously freaking people out here.

"Ah... hey?"

Yeah, that's a good start. It leaves plenty of room for Iida to respond to him without letting him know Izuku knows him.

Unfortunately Fate is a bitch, and so is Iida's mun.

"Ah, Yes! You- would you please lend me a hand and provide some assistance? These hooligans just keep leaving behind rubbish. They are desecrating these very grounds and showing disrespect to those that have toiled to provide us with such luxury!" Iida continued as his hands moved to match with his passionate lecture.

He'd like to talk to fate about a lot of things. The first of which is: why are all his friends dead. He could handle it if it was one at a time, but two at once seems uncomfortably excessive.

"Well... I think they're corpses. I'm not sure if they can stop themselves..."

[ ...what the hell does he have to put up with this time...?

The reanimated corpses were one thing. They're hard enough to explain without resorting to magic but he's decided to just deal. But being paired with someone who seemed to be anything but dead.. and was he scolding those corpses...?

Good gracious. ]

Alright, that's quite enough of that.

[ Slipping off a nearby bench from where he was sitting (simply because his shinki couldn't be convinced to leave the corpses alone and he thought it best to sit and assess the situation first) and approaching, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. ]

It's clear scolding them will do no good nor will it lead us to the cause of this entire... madness. It may be best to try some other approach.

Rather than being helpful, Chinatsu was part of the reason why their parts were sent flying everywhere. While they may not be trying to eat her, she did not appreciate having her hands kissed by rotting corpses and when a guy can't take no for an answer, Chinatsu isn't afraid to send the message another way.

"I said DON'T touch me!" Her leg comes around swinging, sending an arm off towards a person she had failed to notice.

Haruka is...not impressed. Although he is a little amused, even if he's unimpressed. But what does the judgment of a guy in pajama and slippers, carrying a small oxygen tank in one hand and a backpack slung over a shoulder matter? On the other hand, who would want to be judged by the guy who can (involuntarily) hear your thoughts?

"Be careful, there's an eyeball over there."

He at least offers a warning....maybe on time, maybe not. Probably not, on purpose. It looks like someone (the corpse who dropped it) is about to step on it.
