About: Ruri is a deadpan snarker, in fact the trope was originanally called "The Ruri" for a few years because of her. She's from a mid 90's show that was a spoof of mecha nonsense and as such is a bit silly in her knowledge of things, and her views on the world.
God/Shinki: God
Plans: Good grief, I never have plans. It is storm season at work (I work as IT for the local power company and when storms come I kind of want to cry due to all the on call) so I have even fewer plans. I'd just like to build some actual CR and do some things.
Wanted CR: Ruri needs friends, confidants, people she can look at magic and sneer at like the cool kids do, magic users to beat her over the head with magic an give her headaches because she is incapable of classifying it, and mostly people to drag her out of her temple where she'd happily just make tea and sort books all day.
Unwanted CR: Ruri is not a combat type, she is an intel type. "HAHA I HAVE SWORDED YOUR UNDERWEIGHT 16 YEAR OLD!" is kind of not a thing I am looking for.

About: A war survivor on card games who's a bit curt and short with people and has largely forgotten how to do Civilian Things, but is super loyal and actually pretty friendly (in his own way) when people have the patience to work their way to being his friend.
God/Shinki: God, he's Nekhbet.
Plans: My main plan for next month involves him deciding that maybe he should (gasp) make his shrine look a little more like someone actually gives a shit about it, which obviously means cutting some of the Too Damn Many flowers in his temple garden and making stuff with them to decorate it. Incredibly awkwardly because how does one do the thing. In any case, afterwards he'll likely be texting friendly CR (read: cr he's met more than once and doesn't hate, because actual friends would be like three people) to be like "take these fucking flowers i picked too many", and I'll probably have a post with that as well as prompts at his temple and shrine for it. Also maybe a prayer, since he hasn't done one in a while.
Wanted CR: EVERYTHING, friends in particular are a+ though it does take Shun a little while to warm up to people, people he can fight alongside, people he can just straight up fight, etc etc so on and so forth.
Unwanted CR: None currently!

Character: Davesprite (Homestuck)
About: An existentially depressed neon orange bird-ghost-person who is generally just kind of Done with himself and everything else, but makes the attempt to be sociable and functional and all those other fun things.
God/Shinki: Shinki to Neith (Hajime Ichinose).
Plans: THERE'S SOME KIND OF NETWORK SHITPOST HAPPENING AT SOME POINT OKAY. Other than that I don't really know, but by gods I've been planning a shitpost with him basically since he got here so he's going to have a goddamn shitpost. Sometime and/or somewhere over the rainbow.
Wanted CR: Again, friends would be great, in particular friends who can curb Davesprite's unhealthy habit of distancing himself from people once he gets too close to them because he thinks he's inflicting his presence on them.
Unwanted CR: Nothing too emotionally crushing for Davesprite, please.

About: Paramilitary group member turned UN supernatural response team member with badass song-powered armour that damages the hell out of her if she uses it for too long without the sync drug she doesn't have here. Generally kind and motherly and prefers not to hurt people, but woe betide you if you get on her wrong side.
God/Shinki: God, she's Nuada Airgetlam.
Plans: Possibly a prayer, since she's starting to get settled more with the two shinki she got recently. I may be making an open post partially set around her ridiculous awesome treehouse temple and partially on the Near Shore with her trying to find a job, because she's been sitting on that for a while.
Wanted CR: Other performers, friends, people who can rile her up enough to show her serious and hardcore side, basically anything!

About: Insufferable camp narcissist movie star/Takarazuka ripoff/model/idol whose schtick is being a Prince-type character. Can be smooth as hell but can also be a raging grumpy ball of antisocial. Faints if you end your sentences cutely around her. You know. A well-adjusted individual. IDK, her first post here involved her thinking illusions of giant gold statues of herself was an A+ interior decorating decision and that’s really all you need to know about Hibiki.
God/Shinki: God
Plans: Venus is her shinki! She’s still settling in, but I am looking forward to building more CR (positive and negative) with the other performer characters in the game, as well as being adopted kicking and screaming, perhaps literally, into the KH family - she’s the Apollo to Roxas’s Artemis and they already get along like a house on fire, which is to say, this cast is a big inviting house and Hibiki wants to light it on fire. Also, depending on how going to PHarajuku goes, she may end up with a Genius Plan that is actually extremely stupid and related only to her canon, so just. Ignore her when she starts monologuing about that.
Wanted CR: People to be unhappy at! She’s mostly been the strangest person in all her threads, which…yeah…, but she also really doesn’t like being roped into other people’s plans/doesn’t know how to deal with people actually wanting to be her friend, which means she needs to be Aggressively Friended Immediately. It would also be fun to have some kind of rival to be passive-aggressively snarky at. And eventually I’d like to start sending her out on prayer runs, so somebody who’d be willing to put up with her treating that like Theater (or somebody who wants to lose their patience with her over that) would be fun down the line. I’m open to pretty much anything, though.
Unwanted CR: Um. Don’t kill her, please? Also, let me know if you don’t want CR with Hibiki - she’s from an extremely cartoony canon so she’d be a handful even if she weren’t also convinced she is the star of every single thread.

Either way, he’s got the right personality to make cross-canon connections, regardless of where they lead.

She's opinionated and full of sass and kind of a coward until she's out of other options, but very compassionate at heart. She's also spent all her life wearing a bad reputation; she doesn't care about following rules or looking like a good girl. In general CR, you can expect her to be confident, extroverted, empathetic, and a shameless brat. Above all, she's loyal to her friends and passionate about her convictions—namely freedom, helping those in need, pursuing dreams, and amassing all the treasure she can find.
God/Shinki: God! She's the Norse god Njord, who is associated with wealth and seafaring.
Plans: Nami wants to investigate the gods over her two shinki castmates, Sanji and Zoro, so she will be looking for them. Loose plans to take Sanji as a nora at some point. Outside of cast stuff she would like to shop and get to know more people and she's going to struggle with two of her convictions being at odds here. She considers her presence here a sort of imprisonment as she can't leave, but she's too compassionate to defy her assigned role by turning her back on those who pray to her either.
Wanted CR: Can I say everything? I'd love seeing Nami with all sorts of types. Guys that fawn over her, guys that are scary bastards at her, kids who are bratty, kids who are sweet, girl friends she can hang out with, fellow people who are offended and displeased with being pulled to The Far Shore. If you need a rebel, a damsel in distress, a sneaky type or a big sister, she wears all of these suits well.

At some point, I want him to realize he can a) ice skate like a pro, and b) pole dance like a pro, ideally not in that order. I also want him to learn about shinki magic -- he's a very stubbornly dedicated learner, when he sets his mind to something, and feels guilty about his power and form being non-combat-oriented, so that's motivation for him to learn!

Plans: Zeno's her god. Nothing set in stone yet. She just got here and she's getting used to the place. Probably hasn't even stepped out far from her god's temple or checked her phone since she's intimidated and clueless? She also doesn't know shinki are also weapons or about how awful this setting can be since she arrived to a happy, fun beach day and her god isn't going to tell her until it's necessary. So I'd like her to make friends, explore, find things to do until the bubble is shattered. Everything modern is going to confuse her, also. Doesn't help that her god, despite being from the future of their world, is also too medieval to know much either! So I want her to learn about those things and barrier making, and also kanji.
Wanted CR: She needs a lot of friends! She was very lonely and isolated during her lifetime so that's my priority. She loves to have interactions and conversations, even if it's just a "hello". People taking her under their wing like mentors, or sort of adopting her as family would be adorable. And I also want her to meet more of Zeno's friends and her castmates. If it helps, she likes cute things, plants and flowers, and helping others.
Unwanted CR: There are already romance plans (sort of) so none of shipping. Flirting with her is fine but nothing beyond that. Also no violent stuff.

- He's part of "Team Corpse Party", that is trying to figure out the mystery of the festival corpses and, relatedly, what happens to Gods and Shinki who disappear.

- Figuring out a way to steal, gather, and create his own poisons
- Relatedly, studying ayakashi for..... reasons
- Probably going to steal a computer honestly

About: Lara Croft is a brilliant young archaeologist and adventurer who’s seen some serious trouble.  She’s kind, loyal to a fault, and has a voracious appetite for learning.  She has some self-destructive tendencies, like pushing herself too hard.  She’s relatively easygoing, friendly, but has some difficulty relating to ‘ordinary’ people because of her experiences.  That said, she’s willing to fake it till she makes it.  Think of her like your cool, nerdy older sister, really.

God/Shinki: God (Athena)

Plans:
Lara has gotten her first PC Shinki: Felicia and she’s making it her mission to make sure that Felicia’s happy and settles in well.  She’s fully intending to get involved with Hijikata’s Shinki Defense plan, and with Bishamon’s training programs as well as a participant and an observer.

Lara will also be working on various prayers if anyone would like to get involved with her there, and very likely doing a little bit of traveling.  She’s not good at sitting in one place and wants to get out, so if you’d like your character to go off on a day jaunt with her to like, Okinawa or Damascus or Siberia or something.  I’m kind of up for whatever with regards to this, silly slice of life stuff or accidents that present a danger, or something absurd like attending a Mexican wrestling match.

Beyond that, we’ll see what the announcements bring.

Wanted CR:
Here’s where I struggle to narrow this down.  I want her to make friends with common interests, and to make connections she can partner up with and grow to trust.  Found Family is a big thing for me, and so is ridiculousness.  Someone Lara can laugh with and get up to no good with.  Someone that encourages her to work hard, but also probably someone that tells her to step back.

Also she’ll want to get in touch with Felicia’s castmates just to better understand the care and feeding of her new friend.

Unwanted CR:
Not really looking for CR that’s angled towards shipping (she has dokis already), and I’m not really interested in CR that just wants to mess with her head for the fun of it.

Well so far I love the CR that's been developing between Lara and Sanji, it's nice to see him being goofy with a lady that isn't centered around infatuation (THOUGH I MEAN this is Sanji, it might always be a thing). Sanji'd be up for helping with prayers of some sort; he's a tank but also very good at being a sneaky shit, so it'd be interesting to see how the two of them react in a situation that requires more subtlety?

But really I'm just spitballing, I WILL TAKE ANYTHING.

About: Former mild-mannered preschool teacher, current mass-murdering demon with a Buddhist high priest as his parole officer. He usually still looks polite and mild-mannered, at least, but it is not a good idea to provoke him too far.
God/Shinki: Shinki
Plans: Hakkai's currently pretty upset over losing the rest of the ikkou, since he believes that gods and shinki who disappear are probably either dead or their souls are being used for some mysterious darker purpose -- he does not buy into the "they go back home" story and so basically thinks he's the only survivor/only one of his friends not being imprisoned and magically tormented, and it's up to him to rescue or avenge them.

He's recently finished spiffing up an abandoned temple that he's secretly using for storage of things he'd rather not see disappear and openly making available for anyone who wants a place to teach and/or study any subject they like.

Currently, Ukoku Sanzo is his god (and unsubtly encouraging his murderous revenge impulses) but he's going to wind up with Kozukata Yuri after that; long-term, so likely in a few more months, I plan to switch him over from shinki to god via canon update to current Reload Blast timeline.
Wanted CR: If you are interested in getting the maximally alarming interpretation of current game events: Hakkai currently thinks there's a person or persons unknown using the souls that have become new gods and shinki as part of a power play to permanently depose or destroy Amaterasu, that it's probably one of her advisers, and that the new gods and shinki are thus going to be targets for Amaterasu/her advisers if they cause trouble and targets for the Unidentified Enemy if they become too helpful. He will gladly spill this theory in detail to anyone who asks.

He's upset enough that he's not going to be a very good mentor figure at the moment, but he could definitely wind up relying on emotionally steady and unflappable types, especially if they wouldn't be shocked by his implying he's considering a maddened murder rampage through the old gods.
Unwanted CR: You'll probably want to keep the cute, innocent children and incurable optimists away from him unless they have existing CR, at least until he calms down a little.

About: Charming and thoughtful or selfish and vulgar, Dio is a man who has a hard time getting close to people, and he's generally very, brutally honest with his opinions. He's also a 6'4" British vampire who is made of muscle and is very vain at times(and wallows in self-hatred at others). He can be classified as a Recovering Supervillain who hasn't learned yet how to not be a supervillian, but he's mostly harmless now... mostly. Tends to get loud and opinionated and argue for no reason other than the thrill of it.

God/Shinki: God- Tezcatlipoca. God of the night sky, along many other things. Has the ability to turn into any feline.

Plans: Masaki is his partner and his romantic interest currently. My long term goal is to rebuild Dio's confidence from the mess it was when he left his previous game, but otherwise???

Wanted CR: Dio needs more people who can drag him out of his temple. It's hard being nocturnal and something like an introvert(note- Dio loves clubbing and parties, but definitely needs to Recharge after). People to flirt with and people who can debate with him amicably. He could also use people of questionable moral fiber to befriend, so long as they do not try to goad him into anything that he's set up boundaries against(like killing). Also people with good morals to befriend to help teach him. Fashion buddies, people who like music, basically people to indulge in his want to be famous and really really ridiculously good-looking.

Unwanted CR: Typical Hero/Villain antagonistic CR. Negative CR is fine but I'm not interested in characters who are self-righteous and see in black and white who will just argue with him without budging on their stances and put him down. Furthermore, I'm not looking for anyone to 'beat' Dio.

Anything Else?: Dio is going to be entering(re-entering?) a relationship with Masaki, and has a casual thing with Joseph Joestar. He's open to romantic advances himself, and tends toward polyamory, even if he sometimes gets jealous of other people who get Masaki's attention. He will respect her decision!!!! Plans: I don't have many specific plans- she's a little depressed over recent drops and worried about various conspiracy theories. I want to get her reaching out to more people, to get her building up a kind of network of information for herself (and also, you know, friends. But who needs those, amiright?). She's starting to get more involved in her duties as Aditi, though not because she actually wants the role. She wants to seem more trustworthy and reliable to the old gods (for conspiracy reasons) but she's also curious about what happened to the original Aditi. Also, it's something to do and she's a sucker for a sob story at heart.
Wanted CR: More grown up friends! She also tends to do well with people she can look after or who need her in some way, but she'd benefit from someone she could talk to on more equal terms, especially now that Genjo Sanzo is gone.
