Character: Ruri Hoshino
About: Ruri is a deadpan snarker, in fact the trope was originanally called "The Ruri" for a few years because of her. She's from a mid 90's show that was a spoof of mecha nonsense and as such is a bit silly in her knowledge of things, and her views on the world.
God/Shinki: God
Plans: Good grief, I never have plans. It is storm season at work (I work as IT for the local power company and when storms come I kind of want to cry due to all the on call) so I have even fewer plans. I'd just like to build some actual CR and do some things.
Wanted CR: Ruri needs friends, confidants, people she can look at magic and sneer at like the cool kids do, magic users to beat her over the head with magic an give her headaches because she is incapable of classifying it, and mostly people to drag her out of her temple where she'd happily just make tea and sort books all day.
Unwanted CR: Ruri is not a combat type, she is an intel type. "HAHA I HAVE SWORDED YOUR UNDERWEIGHT 16 YEAR OLD!" is kind of not a thing I am looking for.

I just wanted to think you for rolling with "Prench". It's such a stupid joke, and it bothered her due to something in a different thread, which was kinda unfair of me to drag into ours.

Ruri is a great character for just rolling with insanity, she is the only sane member of the crew she hand selected. Me too, though I didn't select the wackos I work with. And I like dumb jokes.

And stuff combines in odd ways, I'll role with just about anything.

I'm really enjoying Scully and Ruri's CR so far! I hope they'll get the chance to bond over their mutual skepticism more.
