Welcome aboard, newcomers! And welcome back to those who have stuck around! It's the time of the month when we add newbies to our ranks. So here is a new Intro/CR Meme in order to get you set for the coming month.

What do you need to do? Simple! Fill in the handy form provided with as much or as little information as you want to and reply here. Name: Ri (Not a newbie, just a new characterie)
Contact: bumperstew
Hobbies: RP, sewing, cosplay, automotive re-upholstery, video games, and a few others I can't think of right now
Fandoms: Naruto, Weiss Kreuz, Gundam Wing, Hakuouki, Rurouni Kenshin, Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors, FullMetal Alchemist... It really fluctuates a lot, but these seem to be ones I go back to most often and easily.

Character: Toshizo Hijikata (Hakuouki)
About: A strict, stern, and stubborn workaholic who will mother hen those he's closest to. Can be an absolute demon if one gets on his bad side or if he's the one giving orders. Worries about those close to or important to him, but has a gruff way of showing it. A poet who does not like sharing his writings because they are not good. Don't ever ask him to cook, you will probably die. The "frequently used" portion of his vocabulary includes the words: fuck, shit, piss, damn, bitch, ass, and hell.
God/Shinki: Shinki
Plans: Hijikata's been partnered with Julian Bashir, so there's that. That aside, no real plans besides trying to get him settled.
Wanted CR: Acquaintances, friends-to-be, cheery people who will drive him crazy, negative CR is love, just about anything, really!
Unwanted CR: I have yet to think of anything.

... You know, now that I think about it, it's probably a good thing they're not both gods.

...Probably. I can't quite see them not butting heads if they were both gods, if only over a weird... possessiveness over the important people in their life/lives?

And arguments about the details that don't line up, tbh

(I mean I guess Sanzo and Sanzang at least mean there's Far Shore precedent for hanging out with your alternate universe self so it wouldn't be a total shock, but Sanzang is about 500% more chill than either of these two.)

Yeah, that pretty much would've been a thing. Now it'd just be butting heads over other things instead.

(And omg, Sanzang is definitely more chill than either of them!)

I'll look forward to it! And to watching Souji being a minor nuisance because like, the other Hijikata-san is sort of fun to poke, too, he's just not perfect like Our Lord and Savior Hijikata-sama <3<3<3

(More chill than them is, in certain regards, a pretty low bar to cross.)

(It's only an accomplishment if that bar is used for limbo)

Ha, yeah, Souji and this Hijikata have been sort of awkwardly skirting around Hijikata's knowledge that in their version of events (which Souji has forgotten, as a shinki), they were sort of A Thing. From PMK!Souji, expect a lot of teasing, but in a very good-natured, bratty little sibling sort of way?

(In the case of limbo, it becomes a fairly impressive accomplishment!)
