Welcome aboard, newcomers! And welcome back to those who have stuck around! It's the time of the month when we add newbies to our ranks. So here is a new Intro/CR Meme in order to get you set for the coming month.

Fandoms: Koei Warriors, horror games, and currently so deep into Fallout 4 I've probably dug myself out to the other side of the world.

Character: Keisuke Yamanami, aka Sannan
About: A friendly and kind person, Yamanami is the second vice-commander of the Shinsengumi. He's never seen without his abacus either! He's a caring individual that takes other people's well-being very seriously and he has a particularly soft spot for children. Underneath all that niceness though is a person that's just crumbled emotionally, has pretty bad self-esteem and is in need of some friends and support.
God/Shinki: God. He's now Guan Yu, god of war, brotherhood and commerce.
Plans: I believe he's paired up with Yamato from Kancolle as his exemplar. I'm looking for a more SoL angle for him to keep things on the more light-hearted side after the emotional trainwreck that is Peacemaker Kurogane, but the long-term goal is to have him slowly reconcile with everything that happened in his canon and heal emotionally.

In the short-term though he's going to need some time to come to terms with the events back home. He's also likely to be a little over-whelmed at the thought that he's now supposed to be a god (and such an important one too!!), so he'll need some time to really get into the knack of taking on prayers and such.
Wanted CR: I'm up for anything. Mostly positive CR, making new friends!
Unwanted CR: Nothing particularly negative at the moment.

Anything Else?:

1. I'm in GMT +8 so unfortunately my tagging time is kinda weird.
2. Work has a tendency of going from really calm to really busy in the snap of a finger, so my tagging speed might drop sharply if that happens. I will inform the muns I'm tagging if work escalates and I need to put RP on the shelf for a bit.
3. I also have a screened opt-out post here if you'd like to opt out of CR/tags from him, no reasons needed. Yamanami's background contains mentions of suicide, but it won't come up in tags.
4. I'm canonblind to Noragami; I've been reading the FAQ and the wikia to fill in the gaps, but if I make any mistakes about the lore don't hesitate to let me know.

I'm Kalyn, you can find everything on my girls over here, and I'll definitely be throwing Jennifer at Sannan (if you'd like, anyhow, since Jennifer's canon is really...something.. But she's a shinki so she won't remember it much to bring up anyhow) since Hijikata has been comparing the two of them in like every thread they've had.

Honestly it was a close call between Tatsu and Sannan!! It's always good to see more PMK fans around too. TBH I thought the canon's Dreamwidth community was nearly extinct, OTL.

Hi Kalyn, thank you for the enthusiastic welcome. I'm totally OK with developing CR between Yamanami and Jennifer. I do have an open prompt for Yamanami in the current log here, but if you'd prefer me to tag into Jennifer's prompts/some other scenario do let me know and we'll do some plotting together.

Hello, Alice! It's nice to meet you. I'd definitely love for Ayumu and Yamanami to bump into each other. SoL is good for his soul, really, he's got the emotional strength of crumpled cardboard right now. He might need some encouragement and reassurance that he is allowed to have some fun and enjoy 21st century Japan, but honestly he'd be glad to just hang out with her, maybe even ask her for some advice on cooking (since his shinki has quite the voracious appetite).

He might also be using all that as a distraction from his emotions. Just gonna bottle things up again and not talk about his issues, nope.

BUT YES a bittersweet reunion, then lighthearted and fun SoL stuff. Looking forward to all of it!! Let me know how and when you'd like for them to meet.

Sannan! I'm so excited by this PMK cast we're developing. Tsuzuki (sweetdeath) is my more cheerful and SOL-friendly character at the moment, plus he always likes helping new gods out and has plenty of practice dealing with people traumatized by the events surrounding their death. He'd be up for friendship and supportive conversation.

Oh man that would be so helpful for Sannan. It'd take quite a bit of CR building for him to even seek help in the first place, but just developing new friends would be wonderful. They could go shopping for sweets together! Maybe that's how they even meet up in the first place, actually. Yamanami staring at all the new sweets that have popped up over the last 100+ years. Sempai teach him the way of the sugars.

Keeeeeeet I am so excited this is going to be the start of something beautiful I just know it. I sent a PM to you earlier because I was too impatient to wait to get home and properly reply on this page, OTL. But yes, I'm really so super hyped for Sannan to meet Hijikata and find out about what happened to the Shinsengumi. I know I said I wanted lighthearted SoL but let's face it Shinsengumi is not Shinsengumi without sad feels everywhere.

Here's good for now! Let's see. Stalking tells me that Souji already tipped Sannan off about Hiji being around, so... I guess basically we could either start with a mid-event action thing (Hijikata would defend Sannan a lot more intensely than I think he'd be in any way expecting) or a post-event sort of thing back on the Far Shore? Either one could suit me!

I think I'd prefer a meeting post-event, just so that Sannan has some time to process things and sort out his feelings. Maybe they could stumble upon each other somewhere on the Near Shore and have a chat there? Yamanami would just be walking around trying to wrap his head around modern Japan when they accidentally bump into each other. Let me know what you think.

(Part of me is tempted by the idea of Hijikata finally getting up the nerve to go to Kyoto and see what's left around the old haunts, only to run into Yamanami there... But again, I'm happy to go with more or less whatever!)
