Welcome aboard, newcomers! And welcome back to those who have stuck around! It's the time of the month when we add newbies to our ranks. So here is a new Intro/CR Meme in order to get you set for the coming month.

Fandoms: Koei Warriors, horror games, and currently so deep into Fallout 4 I've probably dug myself out to the other side of the world.

Character: Lu Meng
About: Grand General of the Wu army and the resident naggy old man, Lu Meng takes it upon himself to look out for and help guide the next generation of soldiers and strategists. He likes reading books and studying, and is courteous, if a little blunt in speech. However he's not afraid to get his hands dirty and enjoys a good brawl if the opportunity presents itself.
God/Shinki: Shinki
Plans: Currently paired up with Sanae Kochiya, resident goddess of miracles. He's taken on his role as exemplar quite seriously, so he's trying to help guide Sanae while answering prayers, going for shinki magic classes and learning more about the current times. Things are a little awkward between him and Sanae right now because they had an ugly argument, but they've also come to understand each other a little better and he's working on making it up to her.

I'd definitely like him to do more things in the modern world. Stuff like learning how to take a train, having fun at the arcade, learning about video games and getting addicted to strategy games like Civilization. Maybe I might drag him to an anime convention, I just love the "man-out-of-time" trope a lot.

Ultimately I'd also like him to become a Hafuri too but that's a long-term goal.

Wanted CR: People with similar values as he has (ie. valuing loyalty, taking their jobs as shinki seriously) and/or are also struggling to understand the modern world. Also anyone else who wants to follow him to the modern world and learn new things. Sparring buddies, anyone who wants to practice shinki magic with him are also very welcomed.
Unwanted CR: Not keen on antagonistic/negative CR at the moment.

Anything Else?:

1. I'm in GMT +8 so unfortunately my tagging time is kinda weird.
2. Work has a tendency of going from really calm to really busy in the snap of a finger, so my tagging speed might drop sharply if that happens. I will inform the muns I'm tagging if work escalates and I need to put RP on the shelf for a bit.
3. I also have a screened opt-out post here if you'd like to opt out of CR/tags from him, no reasons needed.
4. I'm canonblind to Noragami; I've been reading the FAQ and the wikia to fill in the gaps, but if I make any mistakes about the lore don't hesitate to let me know.
5. He is fundamentally against the idea of serving more than one god since he views the relationship between a shinki and a god akin to a retainer and a lord. As such Lu Meng is very much against the idea of going nora and will act distant towards nora characters.

Is there any particular scenario you'd like to play out? A trip to the shopping mall and all the hijinks that come with it? Rescuing a kitten from an abandoned building for a bunch of preschoolers? Getting lost around town and just observing modern day life before getting stuck in the evening rush hour at the train station?

These are just some suggestions I can think off at the top of my head, but I'm all ears for any ideas you have.

Those all sound good. Honestly I can stick him in the middle of anything and something will grab him? But a mall sounds like it has the most opportunities for things that will stick out... and kittens + preschoolers sound like fun, as well.
