and yeah basically...... I'll be honest at first she might just go through the motions of saying things that she'd think he wants to hear because she's more afraid of making him upset than she is Actually Believing It or w/e but that would probably just. make him more...angry...

He'll probably be confused and upset when he catches on, but we'll see how it all goes! :D

Sadly for comedy itself, Hijikata's not that easy to trick. /snickers (You could probably get him on something a little less obviously garish, though.)
