I haven't been able to play anything past Fatal Frame 3 but I'm quietly screaming because Fatal Fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame

WHEN WILL FATAL FRAME 4 RETURN FROM THE WAR JAPAN. never bc it's buggy as hell but THAT'S NOT THE POINT...

5 is really good but man did they up the brutality. Like I started playing it going 'hell yeah hell yeah" and koei tecmo went "you know what we should do different let's have a girl slit her own throat in the first half hour of game play" and I was like WELL OKAY THEN GOING HARD THIS TIME I SEE.

also: hella gay. 10/10 would recommend. Unfortunately they've limited to Wii U only and only digital download if you're in America. Sigh.

oh i have got to find a playthrough of it on youtube now that is right up my alley. Fatal Frame has always been one of my favorite game series and I've been so disappointed by the platform switch because I have a PS3, but no personal Wii so like uuugh

I have a bunch of fatal frame muses honestly. I also play Mio from the 2nd game and Rei from the 3rd. I was actually debating between apping Yuri or Mio here, but Yuri's my stronger voice rn so she won out.

I hope they go back to the other console or even handheld tbh, the controls worked better. The WiiU controls is like...controlling a tank, it's more difficult than it needs to be even though using the gamepad as a camera is really cool. Idk.

The only really weird thing is they also incorporated a bonus storyline/chapters for after you beat the game that incorporates Dead or Alive, bc you play as Ayane and I'm like

i guess the fatal frame universe and dead or alive universe are one and the same, and idk what to do with that information tbh
