Welcome aboard, newcomers! And welcome back to those who have stuck around! It's the time of the month when we add newbies to our ranks. So here is a new Intro/CR Meme in order to get you set for the coming month.

I'm definitely loving the idea of a shinki pool and once Shepard comes back she could be convinced. Did you have any ideas for consequences yet? From what I remember of canon the main reason they're looked down upon is because it's the sort of thing gods use to get into trouble but idk if there's more do it than that. If there were one shinki looking to cause a lot of trouble though that turned nora it could mean a whole bunch of gods end up blighted without knowing the source necessarily and that could be fun to route out.

I haven't really thought too much about consequences yet so I'm very open to suggestions there! I could see something like that if there was a troublesome nora in the midst.

I read the thing about noras on the wiki page and it seems like noras are also feared in canon because they're hard to bind or do any name-centric stuff to unless all the names of a nora are known. I'm not sure but I'd guess that a group alliance with numerous gods sharing noras and keeping their names secret from outsiders would attract some attention.

Yeah if we wanted to go that route we could possible advertise on plurk for that? There's at least a few unsavory eggs in the mix.

Ah you're right too. Although I bet we could spin that to be a positive thing for the shinki. I could see Shepard being kind of offended by that argument like using their names like that is just a way to control them when gods should be more supportive of them have more protection and being independent etc etc.

That sounds good! It's be an interesting conflict for them to resolve.

Yeah, definitely. Ayumu would be bothered by it, too, and probably agree with Shepard. She'd also want to support the younger gods since they were saddled with a pretty big responsibility against their will.
