Name: Revu.

Hobbies: Writing, reading, playing vidya games (horror and RPGs, mainly), did I mention that I love horror? Because I love anything horror.
Fandoms: Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, Silent Hill, Galerians, Parasite Eve, Outlander, The Walking Dead, Broken Saints, RWBY. Otherland is pretty much my favorite books ever.

Character: Ravine.
About: Grim reaper lady who is too cool for school (seriously she never went to school. They didn't really have those for people like her in Babylon). Also is 6'8" and wears sunglasses at night.

Ravine is a Psychopomp who, in her world, was tasked with guiding dead souls when they die in order to prevent them from becoming attached to the living world and turning into harmful spirits. She also is a telepath with a sense for predicting probabilities, but her predictions are more of "possible outcomes" than anything that is set in stone. She's over 3000+ years old, from ancient Jerusalem/Neo Babylon. She seen a lot of shit, man.
God/Shinki: God. She'll be your resident Ereshkigal because OF COURSE SHE IS.

Hopes/Dreams: I'm bringing her as a CRAU from Hadriel, but she didn't really get the chance to develop much there. I'm hoping I'll get to have her play a more active role as dealing with corrupt souls is more of her thing. Her novel/series is also a work in progress so I'm hoping to fine tune her a bit more before I get back into the writing process again.

I'm Alice and I'll be playing Yaone here who is an extremely polite young demon lady who cares for innocents and asks her enemies to 'please die' before trying to murder them. She has a somewhat inquisitive mind and would be really fascinated by that prediction ability of Ravine's.

(I'm also a Silent Hill fan and do original writing, too, so it's great to see more folks into that around!)

Hey Alice! I admit I was eying Yaone when I saw her on the TDM because a. she seemed interesting and b. I remember watching Saiyuki like... forever ago, but don't think I got far enough to be introduced to that character. Ravine is normally wary of demons but I think she'd be fine with Yaone enough to indulge in her curiosity.

Yaone's actually introduced fairly early but she doesn't get as much screentime as the male characters do, unfortunately, so it's fairly easily to miss her in the shuffle there. I could see Yaone being interested in her perspective on life and death as such a long-lived person, too. Philosophical discussion could be a fun thing.

(You're welcome! Haha, I haven't submitted anything for publication myself yet but congrats! Writing fiction from scratch really is a long process for sure. So much world and character building, plotting, and then there's the actual writing and rewriting...)

Ohhhh man, yeah. Like I said, it's been about over a decade since I watched it so that definitely would have slipped my memory. I think Ravine would like her, though. She's all about deep conversations and such when she can get them, even if she kinda struggles with social interactions because she's mostly used to interacting with dead people she only sees once and then they pass on and are gone forever; doesn't give her the chance to make too many friends, which is what RP is good for. Love that character development.

(It really is. Ravine's canon in particular is a rewrite of something that I wrote in 2001, but I did so much tweaking of her character that she isn't the same now as she was back then. She pretty much now only represents my old edgy gothic teenage angst years in appearance only, as her personality and backstory has been built on and tempered a great deal to suit her better.)

Welcome to the game, I'm shuu and I play the local disaster Caster Cu Chulainn (god, here as himself) from Fate/ and Symmetra from Overwatch who's a shinki to Alexander the Great.

Your character looks really fascinating, so it looks like this new godly job is kind of similar BUT ALSO SO VERY DIFFERENT from the previous one.

Oh that's neat that characters can stay as the same gods they were in canon! I'm only vaguely familiar with Fate and Overwatch by proxy but I dug Symmetra from what I'd seen of her!

And thanks! Yeah, pretty much the main things that'll be different for Ravine will be the manner in which she has to dispatch corrupted souls and her influence with the living, really. No big d! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ugh, man. Hopefully our PS4 will be fixed/replaced by then.I don't usually buy games right as they come out, but I do it so rarely that I might make an exception for the new Dragon Age.
