Character: Yamanbagiri Kunihiro
About: The tsukumogami of Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, a famous replica of an equally famous sword, Yamanbagiri harbours some issues over his self-worth and appearance. Which means he's motivated to work hard to prove himself, if he's not feeling down about himself.

If his complex doesn't act up, he's otherwise a friendly but rough guy who means well. The one most likely to jump into a fight to help someone (even literally).
God/Shinki: Shinki
Plans: His god is Sakura! So folks who knows her might meet Yamanbagiri at some point.

He's easier to get mad due to the weather, so if anyone wants to fight or argue with him, I'll toss him over. Other than that, I'm aiming to build CR and continuing stuff if anyone he met before is up for it.

My long term plans for him to build up his self-confidence still stand, so that might be a potential hook if anyone wants to deal with it.

Wanted CR: Friends and people who get on his nerves! Especially aggressively friendly people who can drag him around. He's not too hard to drag/enable into things, just depends on how much of a jerk they are.
Unwanted CR: None at the moment, I think.

About: A war survivor on card games, with all the trauma that entails. Prone to all work and none of the play, being kind of an abrasive asshole at times, and slowly learning All Of The Weapons. It takes a while for him to decide he trusts or is friends with someone, but once he gets there he's loyal basically forever and will overprotective big brother you forever (even if he's younger than you). Has a soft centre, but bringing it out takes some doing unless you're a child or a friend already.
God/Shinki: God, Nekhbet, and his shinki are Fubuki, Reisi and an NPC "cracked vessel" named Kotori.
Plans: Given Shun is the first new god to move into Fancy District^TM, I kind of want to do a bit more with that setting sometime, like him being very confused about the haiku-spouting koi or whatever else. He's still recovering from the disappearance of his canon best friend who was a shinki here, but he's already been called out by multiple friends on being a self-destructive idiot so he'll...probably be doing less of that in the upcoming month...
He might look into the ayakashi getting people lost, and I kind of want him tearing down some wind chimes once he realises they have that placating/calming effect. Also he will absolutely be at prayer fair and given how long he's been here will be a pretty good option to go to for helping people with prayers. Bring me all the prayers forever, I'm trying to get him to God of Fortune.
Wanted CR: All of the things tbh. More friends is always good, more people for him to rub the wrong way or end up in weird non-friendly but civil CR with since that often tends to draw out his latent sass side. On the less serious and more shenanigans side, existing CR meeting his weird boyfriend and judging him for his life choices even more than they already probably do.
Unwanted CR: NOT MUCH just don't randomly kill him and we're grand.

Character: Davesprite
About: A neon orange and feathery existential crisis of a teenager who is a doomed timeline double of his original self, who basically fused himself with a bird via sprite shenanigans to stop himself from dying. Deadpan and generally good-natured enough, but his self-worth is a disaster and if someone becomes close enough to him he may attempt to burn all bridges so they don't waste their time on him.
God/Shinki: Shinki to Neith (Hajime Ichinose).
Plans: SPELLS, god damn I want this bird to learn some shinki spells. Also I'm working on building him back up to 1000 exp so he can take part in ablution shenanigans. Other than that, he got his music equipment back late last month and is working up to maybe organising some kind of event or something where he can perform, who knows. Also I'm planning for him to maybe bring some really weird and ridiculous prayers to prayer fair to rope people into doing them with him because reasons.
Wanted CR: Davesprite needs more friends, he only has like one right now because he can be a bit hard to get to open up properly. He gets there, it just takes a little effort.
Unwanted CR: Nothing too emotionally manipulative/crushing/etc.

Character: Maria Cadenzavna Eve
About: A world-famous idol and ex-paramilitary agent who now works for a government supernatural response division, using what's basically power armour fueled by music. Very much a peaceful and wise motherly sort at times, but if she sees complacency or outright terrible behaviour she will call you out on your shit and/or kick your ass. One of the co-owners of Sparkle Motion, one of the Heavens' two talent agencies.
God/Shinki: God, Nuada Airgetlám, and her shinki are Natsuru and a soulless named Uta.
Plans: Her temple recently moved to Northeast District, a.k.a. the one that nobody else moved to, and there is some potential planning in the works for Naoto to join her team of shinki. Other than that, I'm still working on finding a niche for her here. I may also be doing a thing with the short tempers with her, since I don't get to play grump Maria very often and it's pretty fun.
Wanted CR: Everything! In particular, more people to rub her the wrong way, because she really doesn't have many of those right now.
Unwanted CR: Pretty much nothing.

Plans: I don't have any set plans as of now, but more than anything, I'd like to build/develop CR. I'd been playing catch up earlier this month, and it's kinda burned me out a bit, so I'd like to take things slow and easy in the coming month, especially since my work schedule is likely to become more rigorous for the rest of the year. OTL

Wanted CR: Like last time, I'd like for Reisi to make friends because he's a very lonely, lonely person on the inside. I'd like for more people to learn what a quirky weirdo he can be in spite of his good intentions and great efforts to just do what's right.

He spent a year in one location and solved a murder mystery with supernatural causes with magic powers he... received... due to said supernatural causes... Friendly and polite and selfless, though a little quirky sometimes. Toes the line between foolish and dignified.
God/Shinki: God! Izanagi
Plans: I was on hiatus for August and then was dying horribly in September, so like - I have a lot of things to catch up on! I want to do more prayers with Souji, and maybe even some group prayers with other gods/shinki. I also actually want to do an investigation group that I never got to play with since... I got swept up in fulfillment center hell. So if you're interested in being part of Investigation Team 2.0 lmk because I might do a post about it, or send out inbox messages to interested folks. Sorry Homura.
Wanted CR: If you know the recent Persona series, you know all about how bonds are really important in the games. And that the protags collect them like pokemon. So, uh. Honestly I'll take just about anything, because Souji is (lol) sociable af, and while he doesn't wear a fake mask anymore when interacting with people he def still changes little facets of himself from person to person, so he's p adaptable. Negative CR is still possible if it's with the right people, and I'd like to explore that, too.

Character: Shouto Todoroki
About: Aloof, socially awkward/emotionally repressed teenager in the top percentage of his class of fellow superheroes. Very honest, very blunt. Pretty chill until his temper is provoked, but he works hard and just wants to be a hero, even with the issues that he's working his way through that were caused by his childhood. He's a good egg, or tries to be. He's still figuring that out.
God/Shinki: Shinki
Plans: See: my amzn hellspace in August and most of September, but Shouto's always less social than Souji for obvious reasons, and I'm... gonna look for openings to change that. He spends more time with Izuku than anyone else, but between needing to get back on the ball and wanting to get him more connections... I'll be throwing him out where I can.
Wanted CR: The problem with Shouto is that he doesn't actively seek people out all that much, so he's mostly just milling around here and there. But his bluntness can ruffle feathers and he's a heroic type, so even antagonistic CR welcome. But he really, really needs friends. Please give him friends. Jesus lord. Especially people that can balance out his general aloof, dry self - genki types definitely welcome.

Plans: Dust is kind of spinning his wheels, but he doesn't recognize the fact. There are ayakashi to fight, which suits him fine, so he doesn't realize that maybe he should try to do more with himself than just try to run from battle to battle, doing the will of the heavens. On the up side, he's going to start teaching Chinatsu to fight a little, so if anyone else wants to learn...

Character: Lenneth Valkyrie
About: Battle-Maiden, Chooser of the Slain, a true goddess who finds this whole system fairly ridiculous. Lenneth is laser-focused on doing her duty, because her own Odin and Freya tampered with her so she knows nothing else.
God/Shinki: God: Osiris.
Plans: Lenneth has realized that part of her duty in the Far Shore is in fact to be more social and communicative, to answer prayers beyond simply battling ayakashi, and in general to be more rounded than she has been. To that end, she is now making efforts to the best of her ability to improve. And she could very much use some help.
Wanted CR: Bring it.

Character: Princess Celestia.
About: The most magic pony -- everyone says so! Ruler of Equestria, Princess Celestia is big on friendship, wise and patient, and unflinchingly willing to help others. Also: Pony, right?
God/Shinki: God: Inti.
Plans: Celestia is generally trying to mentor ALL OF YOU CRAZY PEOPLE -- and at the same time, learning more about humanity all the time. Her ability to shapeshift is really helping in that latter area. Those who need advice and patience are welcome to get her attention!

Plans: Currently godless, she was struggling with accepting the fact that she needs a god, and now it's a matter of finding/choosing one.

She's short tempered enough but why not make it worse right? Anyone up for pointless and petty competitions?

She's also trying to learn how to fight, and is training with someone, but is also up for learning from others. She's a diligent student! And prayers! I'd love to try and do prayers with her.

About: Former prostitute turned secretarty/handyman turned god. Alex is a nurturing big sister at heart, but due to her history tends to keep people at a distance. She'll usually keep to herself, preferring to act in the background. Get her comfortable enough around her and you might see more attitude.
God/Shinki: God! She's taking over for Oshun, an African goddess.
Plans: Alex just got her first shinki, Temeraire! She'll be trying to adjust to that since she was scared of having to be responsible for someone, but she'll do her best.

Getting her to do prayers...haven't done that yet. For sure she'll be helping out those school kids though. And I want her to try all the ice cream flavors she's never even heard of! Will also be showing more of a short-tempered Alex. Rude plants and now rude koi in the river that runs by her temple for to deal with. It's a pain when they splash her everytime she crosses the bridge to and from ehe temple.

Wanted CR: As always friends. Because of the canon point I chose for Alex, she's scared to get close to people again, but she definitely needs that support. People to fuss over, people to scold, people to be a little more childish with..Im open to many things

Plans: Hibiki just got a mission and a prayer approved, so I'll be doing a catch-all involving Library Research if anybody wants to crash her research session. She thinks there's something fishy about one of the companies involved in the shopping event from last month so she will be trying to purchase the company and failing. Also the air is full of ash and bad temper and the only thing that fixes that second one is noisy, so she's probably going to be this little angry purple ball of hissy fit for the next few weeks. Please come take advantage of this. (Or give her a massage.)

More than anything, she just wants to be a strong, dependable shinki -- someone her god and her friends can rely on.

Plans: Right now, Naoto is getting over the loss of her first god, Kanji. They'd grown close, and she'd felt a connection between them that seemed to go beyond merely a god-shinki relationship. However, she never got the chance to discover what that feeling was. So instead, she's been quiet recently, keeping to herself and moving on to gradual acceptance that she needs to move on herself.
Wanted CR: Plans for a new god are already in the works, but Naoto's still always open to new friends and acquaintances! She could always use more people in her life who can help her feel more comfortable with herself and bring her further out of her shell.

- Nanako just got a new shinki, Suou and still has Homura Nora'd to her. She is currently still living at Izanagi Shrine with her brother and extended family but also spends a great deal of time at her own temple or flitting about the heavens.
- Her current goal is to find a way to help the old gods and new gods get along better, although how she is going to accomplish this, she hasn't quite figured out just yet.
- She's also been wandering around the heavens a lot taking pictures of gods and shinki lately, helping gather photographs for Izumo's memory wall.
- You might have also spotted her at the recent shopping center dressed like a detective and trying to solve all the cases. >.>
Wanted CR: Anything, Nanako loves meeting new people and making new friends. Just beware, you will probably be pestered with lots of questions. And occasionally be dive-bombed from above. ALSO PRAYERS, always prayers, she's working her way to God of Fortune.

About: After being wished back into a toddler seconds before the dragon balls disappeared at the death of Piccolo...Mai's second life kind of went downhill from there. She grew up in a dystopian future world first attacked by Androids 17 and 18, and then later...by Goku Black. However, she proved to be someone who wouldn't take these hardships laying down, and over the years rose in ranks until she basically became the human center of the resistance. She is tactically smart, brave, self-sacrificing, encouraging, and loves most the precious smiles of the innocent. Children, in particular.
God/Shinki: God (Celctic goddess of children, Caireen)
Plans: Mai is absolutely going to be focusing on the schoolchildren this month, protecting them and making sure they get their ice cream. In addition to that, she is starting to pick up sword training so she can better learn to wield her shinki in his weapon form.

The biggest challenging for her will be coming to terms with the fact that the person she knew and cared for most in her life is now here with her, but from a younger point in time and also her shinki. Having to watch him die was NOT the best welcoming, and now she's also stuck with the burden of the Greatest Secret, meaning she's going to be very resistant about talking to other people about how she knew him so as to not risk hurting him. Even if it means carrying that pain inside her all the while.

Wanted CR: Mai is ultimately drawn to two character types in particular: warriors/fighters, and children. She admires and respects the former, and had been surrounded by them in life. Egos are not an issue for her. I would also love to see her interact with child characters because of both her goddess title and also her fondness of them in canon. That being said, any friendly (or not so friendly) face is of course welcome!
Unwanted CR: ...to be honest, I can't think of a single thing I would blatantly say 'no' to. I'm even cool with negative CR, if things were to turn out that way,

Plans: As stated above, Chikusa just lost his first god, and is still trying to get over that. He's been dealing with this by trying to figure out how to be a Real Boy (tm) who has his own hobbies and likes that aren't related purely to being a good shinki for his god. If anyone wants to help him figure this out (so far he might be writing a romance story and getting DJ lessons from Davesprite), feel free to jump in. He's also taking care of the library after some days absence from it, because fuck you library.

Also! By the end of the month, Chikusa will know enough spells to get moving onto advanced spells.... which means singing. If anyone wants to deal with him figuring how the hell this works, by all means.

I think I would also like to do more prayers with him, so if anyone else is interested in that, hit me up.

Oh, and at some point soon, Add is going to stick him into The Void (tm) for a poisoning attempt. That'll show up on the BBS whups.

About: A rude, spoiled rich kid with terrible social skills and little knowledge of either world he's been in so far. He acts like a brat most of the time and is quick to anger, but is equally quick to try to help out people who need it.

Plans: Hot weather makes Luke cranky to begin with, so he'll probably be short-tempered by default for as long as it persists. Fights are likely, verbal or otherwise. Other than that, he's sort of...afraid...of the Near Shore due to how crowded and noisy most of it is, so he tends to avoid it unless he needs to be there.
Wanted CR: All of them. Friends and sparring partners definitely, but Luke also needs people to hate on. Bring me your negative CR!

About: Bartender, mother of HOMRA, and right-hand man of the Red King. Izumo is generally considered the most "stable" of HOMRA, which honestly isn't saying much, but he's got a good head on his shoulders. He may seem patient and happy to mentor people, but there's a reason why he's the second-in-command. Don't let his smiles fool you.
God/Shinki: Shinki; his god is Ra.
Plans: Currently, he's working on a photo wall for the memories, so he might be actually reaching out to have people help him out with that. He's involved with the new Welcome Center plans, going to reach out to gods and shinki he knows who may be interested in that and have the news slowly spread around. At the moment, he may or may not get a regain in the shape of a familiar horse the K people know just to mess with him.
Wanted CR: Give me all the CR you can throw at me. Although, I'd love for a CR where someone actually pushes Izumo to bring the "beast" out.
Unwanted CR: None at the moment

Character: Lavi
About: Redheaded teenager brought into the world of Exorcists and Akuma. He's known as Bookman Junior and struggles with understanding emotions after spending a part of his life being taught to ignore it.
God/Shinki: Shinki; god is Hel
Plans: At the moment, Lavi is simply going through the motions. He's lost three important people to him in the manner of a few days; one was a former god and friend, another was like a sister, and the other a short-term boyfriend. He'll be tossing himself into situations where he can learn to ignore that side of him again, and definitely not looking for a romantic pursuit any time soon. At the same time, the guy just needs hugs since it's been a very tough time for him.
Wanted CR: Friends, enemies - give it to me.
Unwanted CR: Nothing of the romantic side at the moment, unfortunately.

Character: Toushirou Hitsugaya
About: Tiny ice captain who is protective of his friends. Being regarded as the youngest Captain in Shinigami history, he feels like he has a lot to own up to. While he can be tough, he usually expresses a softer demeanor to him in regards to the people he can actually learn to care about.
God/Shinki: God (Kuraokami)
Plans: He just recently got another shinki in the form of Alibaba! So, there are plans to take his shinki out on a prayer with him at some point. He may also finally unleash his Bankai form in a training session against Goten and mess up so many people with his Bankai form because of reasons. Other than that, nothing at the moment.
Wanted CR: Throw anyone at him.

About: First half-Saiyan hybrid to be born. Gohan is a guy who's had a really tough childhood, being tossed into fights ever since he was a kid. Pure of heart, he really is a lot more innocent than he seems, but worn by the many fights to save the Earth.
God/Shinki: God (Wenchang Wang)
Plans: Gohan is new! But he's had quite a welcoming party in the form of knowing that his younger brother, Goten, and friend, Trunks, are both shinki. He's trying his best not to let them know that he knows them, but at the same time, he's just grateful that they seem to be assigned to nice gods. So, at the moment, there's nothing planned for him, but uh, don't come close to his temple. There are dinosaurs.

I am loving Mai and Gohan's current conversation so much. Despite her initial fears, I think it would be great if they could bond/make friends over coming from the same world (sort of), and he could potentially be someone she runs to if she ever needs to talk about things that are going on in-game. Especially once she learns his name and who exactly he is.

ALSO I am hoping to get a log going sometime this or next week where she accidentally taps into her god powers for the first time and goes walking around in people's dreams, so lmk if you want her poking around your character's head. She'll be very sorry about it afterwards.

Character: Ken Joshima (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)
About: Ken is basically a bipedal dog. By which I mean he's basically a teenage terrorist who's already been in prison at least twice, one a maximum security mafia-run prison, because he and his fellow teenage delinquents really hate the mafia. Like, on a homicidal level. This is because he and his fellow terrorists (of which Chikusa is one) started life as kids in a mafia family, the Estraneo Famiglia, and the Estraneo had pissed off the rest of the mafia world with wildly inhumane and terrifying experimental medical advancements, like possession of other people's bodies to the point where the Estraneo were getting hella murdered. So the Estraneo, in an effort to save themselves, turned all the famiglia children into guinea pigs for their unethical research. Ken essentially had his DNA put in a blender with the DNA of multiple different animals, but the canine DNA really came out on top. Ken remembers exactly zero of all of this, but he's still a feral, violent, unwashed disaster. (Albeit with surprising tsun tendencies, a marked weakness for pretty girls, and an eager puppy side if he gets pats and praise.)

For all that he and Chikusa don't remember they were partners in life, they've wound up developing a very strong partnership in death, too. By now they've ironed out most of the kinks in their relationship except for the biting.

God/Shinki: Shinki
Plans: Ken doesn't have any immediate plans in the game, although he and Chikusa will eventually recover their memories of each other. That's going to be a very interesting time. Ken's also still adjusting to losing his first god, Axel, and adjusting to his new gods - Butch primarily, but he's just recently requested (and been granted) to be nora'd to Hakkai as well.
Wanted CR: I'm pretty open to any developments for Ken! Pretty girls for him to be awkward and tsun around are always amusing, although Chikusa's starting to develop a crush on Ken and this might spark some jealousy. (Also, Chikusa and Ken are firmly in bisexual life partners territory, even if Ken isn't fully aware of this yet, so it's not likely to develop into anything more than Ken being flustered by Girl.) Ken also enjoys people he can fight for fun, people who will praise/pet him, or fellow animal-human hybrids.
Unwanted CR: There's no actual CR I'd object to him getting, but I'd prefer characters who are definitely going to be in the game for awhile - Ken's had to deal with a lot of CR-significant drops recently and new friends disappearing would do more damage than he really needs. :|a

About: Majorly idealistic (but not enough to be naive) and humble, no one at the Far Shore except two folks actually know of his background of ruling and running a nation while also having to deal with a thousand year war and the fallout from it. He's a very good man at heart and a good person to have in your corner both physically due to his experience with a sword and politically able to manipulate and sway folks with just words. Pragmatic in a good way.
God/Shinki: God, Forseti who is the Norse god of Justice who has a palace of gold as well. But Aymeric himself thinks its tacky /shrug
Plans: Has two shinki: Goten (who didn't tell him about another god naming him thanks) and a soulless shinki named Sukomi who uses body language and gestures to express matters. Since this lord commander is quite restless and wanting to do more than just answer prayers, he and two other dorks (Izumo and Leo respectively) came up with the idea to try and do a Welcome Center to help out folks since the resources are a bit lacking. So, they're going to need A LOT of help.

Wanted CR: Again, anyone who can bring knowledge for the Welcome Center! They need folks who know the layout of the land literally for mapping reasons, gods who are willing to offer refuge for shinki who end up nameless until a god gets assigned to them, those with information about abulutions and noraing, events, etc. Basically bring everyone if they wanna help a good cause! There's also gonna be a bit of a 'putting feelers out there' during the job fair so it's very possible that you can run into him there.
Unwanted CR: No shipping as usual, Aymeric is in a happy relationship with that Grumpy Prince. But he just calls him Leo.

A long story short Emizel used to be a good for nothing/freeloader until he realized he had absolutely no future that way and so now wants to grow up to be an awesome demon that everyone will remember forever.
God/Shinki: God, Thanatos (Greek God of Death). Viktor is his only Shinki right now
Plans: Got a Hell Butterfly from Toushirou! He just had time to use it yet. On top of that Emizel wants to go exploring around where the lava spewed up. All the heavenly stuff makes him really miss some old fashion hellfire motif. Could also be exchanging some followers for a Prinny vassal.
Wanted CR: Negative or positive CR everywhere. He really needs more social people to drag him around places too. ...Otherwise he might just work himself to death. (ha)

About: A somewhat prickly on the outside but kind on the inside teenager. He takes his jobs as shinki, exemplar and helper to the newbies very seriously. The most experienced person around when it comes to shinki stuff! So call him senpai. He'll love it.
Being a teenager he's prone to all the awkwardness that goes with that.
He can often be found attending Hakkai's school or wandering the Near Shore.
His hobbies include gardening and homemaking, and he has an interest in building construction.

God/Shinki: Shinki (to that loser god Yato who has gone and made himself scarce recently. Darnit.)

His main goal is to find out how to be useful as non weapon shinki, so any help from more experienced shinki is welcome. He will pay you in food and he makes great bentos.

About: Hound of Ulster, Child of Light, son of sun god Lugh, etc, etc. He happily got himself doomed for eternal glory at the cost of very short life and never looked back. Now he's getting summoned into Grail Wars to fight for whatever his Masters wishes for. Most often he lands in Lancer class, but not this time... Got physically incarnated after becoming a God in Far Shore, which means he no longer can assume spirit form, but it's a good trade-off as he doesn't need to leech off someone's mana/lifeforce to stay alive.

Generally, YOLO is very strong with this one, he's good for crazy escapades. A loyal friend, a flirt, occasionally a troll. Can be a morally ambiguous asshole too, he's got a very strong code deep down, but it's different from what is acceptable in the modern world. Generally, he doesn't hold grudges (there are special exceptions related to that code tho), and is also memetically unlucky.


God/Shinki: God! The Incarnation of Cú Chulainn so... generally as himself, but he's trying to not make that too obvious and continues to introduce himself with his class-name. His shinki is Archer.

Plans: Probably figuring out how the hell to work with a shinki whose vessel form is a trinket. They're most likely going to try to do some prayers, and fail. I'd like to strengthen his bonds with other Celtic gods, because he's naturally drawn to them, and they're all good, strong women here as far as he can tell

He'll challenge the koi menace with power of fishing so anyone who wants to join him, or kick him out for trespassing, you're welcome to! He'll probably won't check the volcano on his own, but if someone is stupid brave enough to go there and needs a party of great adventures, he would join. He will attend the Heaven job fair, but as an observer - not enough local experience to offer advice or anything. Unless someone wants to train how to fight with a spear! Can give some magic advice too, but he's not good in being overly druidy.


Wanted CR: Anything and everything. Friends, battlebuddies, drinkingbuddies, people he can hit on, people he can be insufferable to, or anyone willing to indulge into mythological tales time. About: Just a kid who plays baseball! In canon it's basically the only thing he has any skill, passion, or drive for, as it was basically the only thing he was ever allowed to do, so for anything else he's totally useless! Really shy, really hungry, but also a total monster at sport. When he's nervous, he has an annoying laugh like 'Kahaha!' and when he's excited he has an annoying laugh like 'Kahaha!' and if you can't tell the difference it's because there isn't one, but mostly a good kid who just wants to eat all of the food.
God/Shinki: Shinki
Plans: He's gotta get some one-on-one time with his newly assigned god, but also deal with those uncomfortable creeping thoughts that come with the territory of having survived 3 gods and 4 out of 5 of their other associated shinki and if that makes him bad luck or something! You know! #justshinkithings! Outside of that there isn't a whole lot I'm looking at having him specifically do this month just yet. We'll see!
