Character: Ayumu Yamazaki
About: Formerly, a kunoichi for the shogunate who was assigned to work with the Shinsengumi. Her brutal death at the hands of her enemies has left her physically scarred and deeply traumatized. Prior to her death, she was the stand in big sister and den mother to the Shinsengumi. Normally, she's a caring, maternal soul but she's a bit colder and survival/success oriented after her trauma. Traces of that kindness and warmth remain though; it's just a bit buried under other issues right now.
God/Shinki: Shinki
Plans: Ayumu's shinki to Hakkai aka Iron Crutch Li. Since I've been on hiatus all month, I'd just had her on autopilot working on setting up an infirmary and waiting area at the school. While she's been busy, her god went and got himself killed/nearly killed by naming blighted shinki, one of whom happens to be a student of sorts. She's going to be pretty focused on her duties at first, at least, but she'll be opening up her spy operation infirmary to the public once she settles down. She may be hunting down Chikusa like she intends to kill him and wind up trying to draft him instead into assisting her with setting up a homeless shelter for shinki in one of the abandoned temples.

A more long-term goal is to have her recover pleasant memories of her time with the Shinsengumi and nora to her old commander, Hijikata.

Other than that, I'd like to set something with her on the Near Shore during the typhoon. I don't know exactly what yet. Maybe some kind of fight or rescue? I'm completely open to ideas.
Wanted CR: Friends, allies, enemies... It's all good. People to come hang out and chat with her while she's playing school nurse? Or people to come in for treatment. She's been studying medicine at her god's temple and would like to put it to use!
Unwanted CR: None really but she might not respond favorably to romantic or sexual advances. She's going to be pretty focused on her god and work she's doing.

Maybe Ayumu can treat Chinatsu? Been thinking of having her train more physically so she might get bruises and stuff.

That sounds good! She'd be happy to chat with Chinatsu again and her god happens to have a salve that works very well on bruises.

Whoa, the last thread we did was the first time they met during one of the July shinki training logs (OOCly, in June!). I'd love if we could build some CR, and I'll be off hiatus in September, so maybe we can give it a shot. XD

Yeah, it has been a while! I'd like that, too. Ayumu rather liked Reisi I'll be off hiatus in September, too, so sounds like a plan!

Hakkai promised Davesprite a silly movie night -- Ayumu should join them! (I'm thinking of making it a cozy little mingle log for a night in with friends...)

That sounds good! Mingles are always fun. She'd help out with snacks and such, possibly while wearing that miko-maid outfit.

Hakkai is biting his tongue really hard to not tell her to put more clothes on. He just hopes he doesn't get a reputation as a creep out of this.
