Character: Hibiki Shikyoin
About: "Princely" entertainment superstar who takes all the world being a stage too literally. Kind of an asshole. Dresses up in a mask and cape and calls herself "Phantom Thief Genius" if she can't obtain what she wants through legal means. Drinks too much tea and can't stand people ending their sentences with custom suffixes. Has not, and will never, figure out she isn't in a children's show any more, even after stumbling upon a dead body.
God/Shinki: God! She's Apollo.
Plans: Hibiki has had an incredibly difficult past few in-game weeks - she relived her Tragic Past (tm), her shinki was murdered, she got blighted, she babysat, and she mopped her own floor for the first time in her life. She is working through this while still being massively in denial about missing her shinki, but she has decided ~revolution~ is necessary. This means she's going for God of Fortune, and is therefore available for anybody who wants her for prayers/missions. It also means she's probably going to decide to make a movie. Because that will TOTALLY FIX EVERYTHING.
Wanted CR: Who wants to work on a movie???? ICly, Hibiki isn't the open auditions sort - she gets intrigued by people and then tests them, but if you express OOC interest, I will find a way to get Hibiki ICly interested in your character. Both actors and support staff are needed, because Hibiki never met a job she didn't care for that she couldn't delegate. I also would kinda like to have more good stuff happen to her for a while, just to give her a break. (Humorous bad stuff is always welcome, though.)
Unwanted CR: Please don't kill her.

Sorry I wound up dropping the sea anemone thread, but I kinda got worn out at some point. T^T However! I'd like to work out somehow getting some CR with her.

I'm kinda curious about this whole making a movie business. Is there any way I could get Reisi dragged into it?

Like, it's going to be a samurai story, I think (that was the plan when last this came up on Plurk). But there is nothing saying it can't be a samurai tokusatsu swashbuckling romance adventure story, complete with people in rubber suits! Or plush suits, I'm not picky.

Hibiki canonically starred in a movie called "Battlefield Guitarist" so I think we're in the clear for making the worst movie ever.

He can! Though he'd probably be interested in any role, and would do his best even in roles that are difficult or completely out of character for him. So it doesn't matter whether or not he's going to wear kigurumi in the movie. XD

Sounds good! I'll be making OOC posts when recruiting in earnest gets underway/I have a concrete idea of the plot of the movie (though everybody can flesh out the details together by adding characters/ad-libbing scenes), so don't touch that dial.

Izuku would be good for support staff. If she needs heavy things moved around, that's his wheelhouse! He's not a great actor though, don't ask him for that.

And he's also aiming for God of Fortune, but hasn't told anybody about that either. So maybe they can go on an awkward prayer together at some point?

The Prince and the Hero doing a prayer together would be interesting! Maybe as part of that, she can witness his powers firsthand and that's what makes her think of him later when she needs somebody strong?

Sounds good to me! Izuku has a slot open now, so maybe the wingman prayer would work for that? Creating enough of a distraction that it'll let the girl leave the date?

Sounds good! He can be the distraction, and Hibiki can whisk away the distressed damsel.

Well, how would Hibiki feel about having the Ultimate Fashionista in her movie? Also, a Madness Goddess would be fun to add for her revolution, right?

Junko is always down for new friends. Even princely types.

Hibiki is always happy to meet fellow people in show biz, especially professionals. A model would be a delight, and if she has a few, er, quirks, well, that's celebrities for you......

I will be doing some sort of open post next month after the event and I'm sure there will be a performance-related prompt in there. ;) Or maybe they can meet up during the event if we can't bear to keep them apart?

I will look for a way for Junko to "bump" into Hibiki. I'm sure it's unavoidable.

I'd be up for doing like a post-aging event follow-up if you wanted? We can handwave that Naoto did indeed stay for a small tea party with lil' Hibiki before she excused herself. Might be something fun and light-hearted if you're up for it?

That would be nice! Naoto would have received a bouquet of flowers from Hibiki once the age event had ended for humoring her smol self, too.

Hehe, that's super cute. :3 Naoto will definitely be entertained by the flower delivery, and it could serve as a good conversation starter for the next time they run into each other. I don't really have many solid plot plans for Naoto next month, so, if you have something you'd like me to throw her at, I'm definitely open for things! ^u^

I tend to post at least one log a month because I prefer in-person stuff to over the network, so I'm sure I'll be putting...something....up! What, exactly, will probably depend on what the next event ends up being - but I have been meaning to do that Phantom Thief post for months but then Hibiki's life imploded in her face.

So we'll see.

No worries. We can get around to the phantom thief shenanigans whenever. :3 But that will be fun to do though, for sure.

But yeah, I'll keep an eye out for a Hibiki post then next month? Something to throw Naoto at. :3
