[Omi can't tell from those reactions if he's a shinki or not, which is somewhat vexing. It does absolutely nothing to reassure him, either. Naturally the man was to be distrusted either way, but there was an extra layer of caution to be exerted should he be a god like him. That, of course, meant he had to stay prepared for the possibility while being mindful of the alternative. (Not that it was any skin of his nose for Crawford to become an ayakashi, but that could potentially kill his god, and that was not a fate Omi wished on any other but one.)

So whether it's a snub of arrogance or a dismissal of ignorance that Crawford visibly drops his guard with him, Omi doesn't show irritation-- and he doesn't drop his.]
