Man I haven't read PMK in literal years so this is just all a refresher for me, but it's fine. Hijikata has way more history than a 17yo who only learned to use a sword in the past year. (And golf clubs. And baseball bats. P4...) At least he's a fast learner, and he'd 100% take efficient over proper given his experience. :V

Souji'd be a little hypocritical in his encouraging to not be a workaholic since he can run himself thin but it's fine, they'll. Figure something out.

I mean like I'm pretty sure the flashback chapter that actually went into detail about Hiji and Souji's backstories was far enough along that it never got an official translation, anyway, even though it was before the long-ass hiatus, so no sweat about that, really.

Anyway, being hypocritical about trying to take care of people while running yourself half into the ground is what life is all about, right?
