Davesprite might have put it together by this point (hole in stomach with the approximate size/width of a blade + instinctively reaches a short distance forward from his stomach in certain situations) but he doesn't have a sword right now anyway, so he will have to wait until I can try to regain the belly sword...

That sounds like a hilarious moment of realisation though, like picking up a sword and suddenly dang I know how to use this--
