March Announcements

Once again, here we are to bring you the monthly announcements and request any feedback you guys can come up with.

With the introduction of Missions to the Prayers page, things might be getting more intense here at The Far Shore!



Happenings

The Near Shore

June is finally winding to a close. Outdoor areas are still bustling and there are still many festivals being held all over Japan.
• Food stands are springing up all over, some of them of the moving variety, and they're looking for help!
• Fireworks displays are appearing practically every night, lighting up the night skies.
• Public pools are trying to draw in crowds from the ocean, come swim here instead!

The Far Shore

It's obvious that the Heavens are trying to work with the new gods and shinki more openly now. They are more likely to ask for help or give out tasks nowadays.
• Mirroring the Near Shore, there are fireworks displays every night now. They are loud and bright and seem to be unstoppable. Good luck sleeping.
• The little park has a new addition! A small pond where you can fish or swim to your heart's content. Spirits (like kappa and wani) dwell there, though, so be careful not to fish them up.
• A strange music can be heard most mornings, permeating the entirety of the Far Shore. If listened to closely, it will bring a sense of calm, ease, and affection to the listener. This feeling will persist through the day, but you can easily avoid it by not listening too closely to the song. Those who wish to follow the music will find it leads them to the residence of Amaterasu herself.

Noteworthy Ayakashi

Many ayakashi have decided to start picking on the poor, put-upon athletes out in the heat.
• A oddly shaped, amoeba-like ayakashi is attaching itself to any athlete it can, causing them to give off a hideous odor and drive others away.
• Many star athletes are straight-up disappearing, having been taken in by a small bear cub. It causes them to become listless and give up on the things they're passionate about.
