Welcome back, Far Shorlings!
As we look on into the new year, we the mod team want to thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts for your support and your love of our game. It's because of you guys that we are able to keep this game up and running, and we look forward to another year with you all - hopefully one that will be brighter for everyone involved.
With that said, there are no real announcements about updates to the set-up of the game, so let's head into the in-game announcements!

The Near Shore
- It's the beginning of June, and the days have never been warmer! Plenty of families are going on vacations and many high schoolers are spending lots of quality time with their friends.
- The beach continues to call to anyone gullible enough to listen.
- Fireworks light the night sky every night - EVERY night.
- The heat might start getting intense, so be sure to keep cool!
The Far Shore
- The recent influx of souls has the Heavens worried. There are a lot of inquiries going around about whether anyone knows what could have caused the parade mishap.
- The strange, light-like creatures from the demon clean-up are hanging around. They seem to want to cheer people up whenever they spot them.
- People who are feeling too warm will find flavored shaved ice sprinkling on them. It might be very sticky and cold.
- Fireflies - or things like fireflies - are all over, though they seem to often lead people deep into the forest.
Noteworthy Ayakashi
- The summer sun is bringing out the daytime ayakashi.
- A fish-like creature is luring people into the sea and keeping them there for hours until they drown.
- There are parts of the city where a large stingray is flying overhead, blocking out the sunlight and causing the citizens caught below to fall into depression. It apparently just really likes the feeling of the sunlight.
Weather
- Here you can see the weather starting on June 1.
RE: Black Parade

Many of the nearby cemeteries have been dug up, leaving gaping holes in the ground. Additionally, dozens of hospitals in the area will in fact report that many of their bodies have gone missing.

- Is there anything unusual left behind at either the graves or hospitals where the corpses vanished from?
- Would it be possible to tell how the grave holes were made? (Using good ol' shovels, signs of unnatural/magic forces, by hand, etc)
- Using the hospital reports, would the bodies have gone missing all at once, or one-by-one/in chunks/whatever? Relatedly, would it have been on the day the parade happened or before then?
There is probably a chance I'll come back with more questions, ha ha, and I apologize for this.

- The grave holes burst out upwards, like the corpses dug themselves out.
- The bodies went missing all at once, just a sudden rash of disappearances.

- Chikusa and Hakkai are trying to investigate the parade path and where it began. Any clues there such as where everything first came together, where they got their festival-appropriate outfits, etc?
- Hakkai is also going to be investigating the temple (and he is going to be accompanied by Yuri
- And here is the catch all: would they find anything else particularly notable in their investigations of the initial parade street, graveyards, hospital, or the shrine?
no subject
- The temple itself seems perfectly normal. Aside from the mess out front.
- There is a certain weird energy about the places where the bodies came from, but other than that there is no real indication of who might have started the parade or why it happened.

What happened to the corpses after the festival? Were they cleaned up by residents of the Near Shore, or did the Heavens do something?
no subject
After the festival, the Heavens would have made a quick and great effort to replace the corpses back where they came from. It would have been done quickly and without much mention to the new gods/shinki about what they were doing.
