Player Plot: Susano'o Trashes Heaven

Player plot ahoy! Sho Minamimoto has decided to make a bid to take over Heaven on OOC August 25 (IC April 19).

Heaven's going to need some help to take out the trash. Hit the jump for details!

Susano'o, Selfies, and the Subjugation of Heaven

In the wee hours of the morning, Sho will be posting on the network to inform people that he's literally the greatest and has figured out how to permanently solve ayakashi.

By lunchtime, Heaven's being invaded by those difficult to defeat Taboo Noise Ayakashi that we saw in the chocolates plot. Except instead of teensy tiny noise, you have everything from frogs to rhinoceroses. They're vicious, powerful, and the only way to defeat them is the power of teamwork. Thankfully, Joshua will be providing tips on how to defeat them.

• List of types of Taboo Noise (Note: No Neoclassical Drakes)
  
• Aggressively attack shinki and gods
  
• Focused at Sho's temple and the Meeting Hall, but can be found anywhere in Heaven
  
• Lone attackers will not be able to do significant damage to them
  
• Requires synchronized teamwork attacks from two or more people to weaken them
  
• Only a god/shinki pair using Rend can destroy the weakened ayakashi
  
• Tips on how to defeat them will be posted to the BBS a few IC hours in!

Boss Fight: Seiten Taisei and the Neoclassical Drakes

At 3:14PM, Sho will be unleashing a bunch of dragons and Goku's superpowered berserker side at the Meeting Hall and it's not going to go well for the anyone. Looking for a chance to get your character mangled? This is the plot for you. Here's a quick informational excerpt on Seiten Taisei.

• Sign ups to fight Seiten Taisei run until 7PM EST on the 22nd
  
  • Teams of up to three
    
  • Does not require god/shinki pairs
    
  • Up to four teams will be chosen via RNG to fight
    
  • (and definitely not win!)
    
  • Character death and extreme maiming can be provided on request
  
  
• Sign ups for an alternative miniboss run until 7PM EST on the 25th
  
  • Fight a big dragon and win!
    
  • Anyone not fighting Seiten Taisei can have their own huge fire-breathing miniboss to defeat
    
  • Team sizes are not restricted to fight Drakes
    
  • Requires at least one god/shinki pair
    
  • Drakes can be controlled by the players, or Jeepers (homomagi) can lend a hand on request

  After the heroes have saved the day from Drakes and Goku's dad calms down his temper tantrum Heaven takes Goku into custody, there will still be plenty to do.
  
  Not interested in the big fights? There will be some prompts to clean up the magical contamination that Sho's left all over the map. His temple in Heaven will need decommissioned as it burns to the ground and a number of Near Shore shrines to him are covered in corrupt taboo noise-creating grafitti that need to be destroyed. Graciously, our mods are offering followers/exp points for helping Heaven.

Sanzang here can heal, strengthen allies, and give them a 'second wind' as need be. Combined with her empathic healing, she'll take on the pains of other peoples' wounds too so they can keep going-- at least up until it becomes too much and she collapses. Usually she does this through her dancing, but she'll grow too tired/weak after a while and will resort to just running around and doing it 'normally' until she ultimately has to pass out somewhere. Or until someone forces her to stop.

She'll probably be ducking around different groups as needed to heal and rejuvenate! She only has a soulless shinki so most likely she'll be taking a support/healing role when it comes to fighting the ayakashi.

Also expect her to cry a lot after Goku's taken away oops.

Yuri will not be touching these boss fights with a 10-foot pole bc she knows she's not ready for that bullshit, but she'll be running around helping out where she can fighting! She's still learning how to fight esp. with her shinki, but if anyone wants to do anything with her, or her ability of Fear Manipulation, hit me up!!

SANAE... has a variety of abilities, can create ~*~*~*~miracles~*~*~*~, and her most hard-hitting attacks are filled with pure light/holy energy. She can also drain some power from an enemy and use it against them, and bind an enemy so they can't move. She's also good for support. Basically she's good for any role!!

But she's also new to this game, and very very new to working in teams, so like any CR is appreciated! She will also not know what's going on and be super confused like "does this usually happen ooorrr...." lmfao

I'd like to sign her up to fight a dragon because DRAGONS but also after everyone gets pummeled by Seiten Taisei she's going to want to heal and help out and shit.

Kurama and Mai are available as a package deal! Mai's shinki form grants her a healing light, so they'll probably be better for the initial ayakashi bomb or a dragon fight than the main event. That being said! Ideally I'd like to have another god/shinki pair along to deal the killing blow so I can put off Kurama's ongoing secret angst about the possible spiritual corruption of his shinki, but it's not an absolute requirement.

Tsuzuki's god power allows him to use his own blood to heal injuries, so if anyone wants a totally metal healer, either to keep your character from actually dying in the fight or to reduce time your character will be out of commission later, he is here for you!

We think we've already got a plan for signing up for a dragon fight, but, we'd love to play out some stuff in the pre-boss fight phase of the plot, too!

Both of them are very experienced in a fight (though, y'know, Souji's likely to spend a fair amount of time being a sword). In addition, Hijikata's god power is Motivation Manipulation, which can be used to amp up people's Fighting Spirit™, so if you've got someone who might need a boost in the self-confidence or focus department during a fight situation, that's something Hijikata could do for them!

If anybody wants to do some Taboo Noise ayakashi-hunting with these two before the boss fights start happening, hit us up here! (Or on Plurk, whichever. I'm cognitiveleague, Emi is sweetjerry.)

Late, but I'll toss Yoruichi in here for fighting the dragons! She can contribute much of the typical shounen nonsense like flight and energy blasts. She's insanely fast, enough to leave afterimages, and can punch a city block to rubble with her bare hands. She can also heal!

Depending on which shinki she has to fight with, she'll either have a Hollow mask and sword, a pair of leather gauntlets and boots that let her break barriers, or a headband to enhance her healing powers.
