He's Genos' mechanic! And he fetches him groceries! And he lurks in the bushes to make sure he gets home okay!

He's the best assistant a cyborg could ask for! Or not ask for. He'll be around either way.

that's...... all correct, yes. Especially in case Genos loses a limb and needs an engineer.

when Genos finally loses a limb Add will abruptly spring from the bushes to save the day like he's been waiting there the entire time

just ignores whatever danger caused said dismemberment this is his shining moment he can't let it slip past
