[Helping the foreigners was supposed to help generate followers for his god, apparently. They'd visit the shrines or something. He didn't really pay that much attention- mostly because talking to strangers always put him on edge- and these people were just weird.
But he was here to do a job, and if it meant helping guide them around the city he'd put up with it. But he was quickly losing his patience, snapping at them every time they asked another question. But he was managing.
...until one of them started asking about him. And trying to touch his hair]

[Takumi was usually pretty good at doing the tasks his god set for him- he might complain or grumble, but he did his job.
Today he just hadn't returned.
Mostly because he had found the BEST Yakitori he had ever tasted! Eating something familiar to him (he wasn't sure WHY it was familiar, but it was) was great for his nerves, but the more he ate the more he wanted to eat- to the point he had a huge pile of sticks piling up beside him and was showing no intention of leaving any time soon.
