Only a fool would make such an assumption. [ it would be easier to go back to being silent and broody and gazing absently out of the window if the road was smoother, but at least thing have slowed down and the threat of impending doom has subsided.
Avenger tries to cross her legs but ends up kicking the glove compartment open instead. a map springs out, spilling all into her lap, causing her to fumble with righting it. oh, speaking of figuring out how close they were, she supposes that it's time to do just that....
