He's standing between them and the ayakashi, but there's nothing he can do until they get to safety and his temper has gotten the best of him. Though he's an imposing figure and you can practically feel the anger radiating off of him, there's something almost panicked about the look on his face. And if you happen to be his god and able to feel the deeper emotion behind all of this, there's a sinking sort of despair as well.]
