Gradually getting more in touch with his softer side, largely through having life hit his heart with a meat tenderizer repeatedly. God/Shinki: God (Hachiman - Shinto god of war, archery, and general samurai-type stuff, among other things) Plans: Long-term character arc is him coming to terms with the things he lost in life by taking advantage of the chances to live a better life and protect people that his role as a god has given him. He's definitely into investigating Plot Stuff, working on ensuring that shinki have options when their gods are unworthy of their loyalty, and I'd love to get him more involved in the murderplot, since he's an ex-quasi-cop and Jennifer was his shinki before she died?? Character: Yuuri Katsuki About: Anxious mess on the streets, unwittingly sort of a sex symbol on the... ice rink? God/Shinki: Shinki to Bastet (Yuri Plisetsky) Plans: Need to do more with Viktor and Yuri. He's involved with Sparkle Motion as a dancer, and I'd like to have him realizing that ice skating is a thing he's good at. Drunk Yuuri has made an appearance, but not in a place with conveniently located poles, so I'd love to have him realize his other hidden talent at some point, too. He's insecure in his skills as a shinki so far, but getting gradually stronger, and I'd love to have more of him training and learning to have more confidence in dangerous situations. Also, he just got his ring as a regain, and made a network post about it. Wanted CR: Shinki senpais, drinking buddies and/or enablers, artistic collaborators and/or rivals, dance students, people to drag him into shenanigans... almost anything, within reason? Unwanted CR: I'm probably not interested in any excessively brutally violent plots with him, and he's not super likely to fall for anyone romantically? Otherwise hit me up.
Character: The Medicine Seller About: A wandering exorcist peddler who seems to end up in spooky situations an awful lot somehow! Just a totally normal, mortal, human guy, though, he swears. Can he interest you in some herbal remedies? God/Shinki: Shinki Plans: He's Sansa's shinki, and while I've been slow on activity with him, I'm always up for anything prayer or Ayakashi-hunting related for him. More broadly, his character arc here has been "learning how to feelings at least remotely sort of like a human, except balanced with a deep sense that being ruled by one's emotions is Spiritually Dangerous in a way that could become literally physically dangerous, so like... really slowly." Wanted CR: Anything and everything. He's a bit of a shut-in, and I need to make him get out more. Gullible sorts to tease a bit? Outgoing sorts who might be useful for the ongoing Operation: Learn How to Friends thing? Shady sorts who don't mind potentially antagonistic CR with very, very perceptive and clever people? I'm open on this front, tbh. Also before this latest batch of Murderplot things happened, he put up an anon post soliciting creepypasta ghost stories in the hopes of finding something worth Investigating. Unwanted CR: Once again, not a great candidate for romantic CR, since Feelings and Attachments are not really so much his thing.
