[While Shun probably could take even a bird that size landing on his arm, he instead elects to reverse the situation, leaping up and aiming to land in a crouch on Kanade's back so he has a vantage point to direct their attacks from. Sure, pointing them out from down here is one way of doing it, but he's always been better at doing it from the thick of the fight.

As he does so, he scans over the blanket of ayakashi for variations in colour that might indicate a weakness or gap in the line. After a moment or two, he points out a paler section where the colour of the actual sky is still just discernible through the ayakashi blocking it.]


Start there. If we can get a foothold where they've left a weak spot, we can keep attacking outwards. [Shun's not expecting to get out of this without some blight, but that's the least of his concerns right now.]
