Characters that die and come back get to pick one memory to keep from their previous stay whether they were a shinki or a god, and you can spend followers/EXP later on to have them remember all of it. So he wouldn't remember it immediately unless you have the points for it, but he could remember something/someone that could probably lead him to finding out about the rest. That's how I understand it, anyway :|a
