OOC Plotting/Information for July 13th

Hello, it's Hibari-mun here. If your character has been paying attnetion to the BBS, they will know that recently Hakkai has disappeared without a trace.

Due to this, Hibari has decided it was heaven's/the gods' fault this happened and is now going on a rampage through the Far Shore. As discussed on plurk, this is ending at Izumo's bar in the Far Shore, with Schuldig stepping in to 'help' the situation there, and handing him over to Amaterasu to diffuse the situation.

The main point for this post is that Hibari is going to be trying to destroy every sort of structure that's in his path, namely temples. I'm looking for anyone who would like to volunteer their temple to damaged-the amount is entirely up to you. Hibari will also be (surprisingly) not focused on actually fighting people, so if characters stay out of his path, he won't attack them directly.

There will also be fires set by his own abilities along any of the vegetation in the Far Shore, and characters are free to mention and react/contain these in any way possible.

I will be putting up a log later on for anyone who would like to play things out.

That being said, there is mod approval for a small follower/exp bonus to anyone if they help contain the damage/make efforts to drive him off.

Yooo just confirming that I'm in on these shenanigans. Schuldig actually already proved to Hibari once that he can shut him down, before this plot even came up, so it'll definitely be interesting!

As discussed on Plurk, Ken will be trying to contain Hibari because these idiots have a weird form of affection between them and Ken will be freaked out that Hibari might get vanished for making trouble :|a Given that Hibari is way stronger than Ken, this will only work insofar as Hibari humors the puppy, but an attempt will be made regardless.

Mind if Shuusei fail/tries to stop him? Shuusei isn't up to Hibari's level but he sorta has a nack and a thrill seeking need to fight people like him. Hibari can wreck him but I just want to throw Shuusei at people.

Yeah sure, that's fine! I did put a post below this one on what Hibari's weapons are, since I know they only interacted once when they were more stable.

I've been meaning to find a way to interact with Shuusei again, just tell me how much you're willing to get him hurt. Hibari won't kill him but definitely fight him if he gets in his way.

Maiming works. Maybe not limb removable but serious lacerations and temporary crippling wounds is more than fine. Shuusei's capable in the most normal sense. Supernatural abilities and above and beyond levels of skill will wreck his punk arse.

It can be at any point in his rampage. I'll tag into the log with Shuusei hunting for him. Basically Shuusei is stir crazy with no real focus so this is something that'll draw him in.

He'll put up a fight but man is he not ready to take on the big leaguers in any way probably good he never met Shogo Makishima because that is not a hand to hand fight he could win, even if he got cheated in death

Hibari's weapons

If anyone wants to actually run into him and get in his path, Hibari will attack them and make them get out of the way to the best of his ability.

In this instance he wouldn't be holding back so there is a high likelihood of serious injury from his abilities. He uses his tonfas and spiked spheres to do most of the damage and can impale people on both, and his other big threat are his spiked handcuffs which look like this.

If they get around someone's limb in this form, he will most likely rip it off.

He will not really focus on any one person and particular and probably run away before they can stop him from causing more destruction.

How big are the fires likely to be, or will it vary (I'm thinking sort of like. patches of grass burning vs bushes burning vs trees burning since vegetation is the target)? I figure Shun's going to help with damage control one way or another, so I thought it'd be good to ask.

It will vary from location to location, but areas with more trees and stuff would have bigger fires and other places will have just patches of grass. People will most likely to be able to notice the big ones pretty quickly.

I'm offering Gojyo for firefighting, and possibly for confronting Hibari about why the fuck he's setting shit on fire. Actual fighting is good with me too, but Gojyo doesn't know about his summon weapon so the fight would be pretty one-sided -- just don't rip any of his limbs off and we're golden.

Sure, Gojyo can try to fight him, Hibari would love to do that He doesn't know gojyo is back, sort of But yes lol I won't rip limbs off, and he can have some fun new injuries if he confronts.

Forrest and Lunafreya will probably help with the cleanup after the rampage. Forrest's god power can help clear out rubble quickly and Luna will be able to heal the wounded.

As far as the fires are concerned, is that opt-in like temple damage?

Sorry, I've been busy with school this entire week. But yes, the fires don't have to be near your temple if you don't want them to be, just like you can choose to interact with them or not.

Tsuna will be trying to stop Hibari as well as taking care of the fires. He'll probably be absorbing the flames into himself, before trying to contain Hibari! Why do you have to be such a handful?!

Ideas of containing? Either trapping the prefect in his X-stream, surrounding him in a wall of dying will flames, fighting him hand to hand,or calling out his vessel name, so he can calm down in a non destructive form. Is he even officially his shinki yet?

Yours ideas on whether this actually stops him, or just makes him even more pissed off lol.

Aha turning him into a weapon will just make him panic and that's probably not a good idea, though anything else will kind of piss him off at this point in his rage. Tsuna is very welcome to try, it probably will slow him down, and he's free to follow him to the end point of Izumo's bar, where Schuldig is gonna shut him down completely!
